History, laughter and a great night out

Cheeky, a little bawdy and very entertaining while learning some of the history of Norfolk Island. Interactive and lots of laughter, a three course meal is included with ample portions. I did note that one lady was very happily accommodated as a vegetarian and she remarked how tasty her dish was. The performers were terrific. You could almost believe they’d stepped out of the pages of history and may I say, the bar and waiting staff were efficient and very friendly. I was there as a solo, but most certainly had a very entertaining evening with the other dinner guests. Highly recommend!!

Great fun filled show

Our last activity on Norfolk Island was the Commandant's Dinner and show and we certainly saved the best for last. We had no idea how incredibly funny the 3 Commandants and the hostess would be. The humour was adult but not over the top and the timing between the three men and hostess was perfect bouncing off each other. It was good to see that they are passionate and still enjoy performing and we still learned a lot about the history too. The only negative was that our main course was cold as we were the 7th of 8th tables to be served by lining up outside. A must see for anyone visiting Norfolk Island.

The history was interesting and well presented by the actors. However the meal was very average and the script was weak and cringe-worthy with lots of bad puns and toilet jokes.

Good entertainment but better, more spacious venue required for health and safety reasons

Good entertainment and well paced throughout the evening. A good way of incorporating a bit of history with light entertainment and frivolity. However as for the set up of tables, we were squeezed in in rows and when it came to using our cutlery, most people had to pull their elbows tightly into the bodies because you were bumping the guests on either side of you. Also the venue had insufficient ceiling fans and unless you are from the tropics and are accustomed to the humidity, it certainly can cause health related issues especially to the older folk
