Mario was an excellent driver and guide! His enthusiasm and hospitality made the day that much better. The tour involves much driving but the scenery and stops are stunning along the way. The van was very comfortable and he ensured we made stops as needed. I highly recommend this tour! We saw beautiful waterfalls and had a wonderful lunch with 2 stops in quaint French towns. Paddle boating on the river will be a favorite memory my family has forever! The water is unbelievably blue and very refreshing in April. Thank you again for a great day Mario!

It was a nice trip. Got to see a lot of beatifull sigths. No hiking. But a lot of stops in towns and places wit great views of nature.
The travel guids Justin and Flow where great and the driving was good.

This was an amazing tour! Beautiful scenery and well worth the trip. Definitely could not have driven there by ourselves. And we loved our driver/guide George. Very informative. Definitely recommend!

I felt this tour was misleading and overpriced for the season. It was unfair to us as we were not to enjoy the experiences as others and your description of the day was not what we recieved.
It should of been half price, willing to pay not full price and these are the reasons
1. water fall nothing was open, couldn’t grab a morning coffee. Bake shop closed
2. No lavender fields to be seen
3. 1st village only few stores open, the town pretty much closed down windows boarded up
4. 2nd village highlight, but once again quiet, many stores closed, but more to see. Was able to grab lunch.
5. Water activities nice but our driver wasn’t even sure of that would be open.
6. Long car ride not to enjoy the more interesting views as it was off season, plus we had a poor guy car sick.
7. Driver was okay, little negative just because two much was closed and nothing to see.
He didn’t know a lot of history when asked as we were driving therefore not a lot of interest. And it’s a long drive.
8. Pick was unpleasant, we met at the meeting point, couldn’t find our tour guide, has no idea what to look for, we thought a bus, or a person but none of it, Diver tried to find us two times but because instructions were poor and for some reason my phone and his phone wouldn’t connect I’m international that may be reason.
I think half price is reasonable for this time of year. Full price is unfair to off season tourists when we were not informed of closures . Viator has never failed me but this was dissapointing.

Our group very much enjoyed our day excursion. Our driver and tour guide went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. She presented options for us along the way to enhance our experience. Beautiful countryside - definitely worth it!

This was worth every cent paid! Rafael was the best guide! He was very knowledgeable about the area and the activities included and went above and beyond to make this trip great for everyone. Getting to take the paddle boats on the lake was so fun! They even had kayaks and paddle boards so you might bring a swim suit and towel if you want to get in the water! I would do this tour again! It’s my second tour with this company, Bingo Tours. I’m very pleased with them!

A long day but worth it to see the gorge from Belvedere de la Carelle. We had plenty of time to visit Castellane and Moustiers-Sainte-Marie and also an hour at the beautiful blue lake. It would have been nice to have stopped at more of the viewpoints along the canyon. I was sitting by the window on the left side of the vehicle and had great views but it wasn’t so good for those on the other side.

This was a great tour. The scenery was breathtaking and our guide managed to stop in a lot of places so we could get photos. He knew all the good spots and kept us up to date with information about the area. We would definitely recommend this tour to anyone wanting to get out of Nice for the day. Lots of great places to grab a coffee or lunch.
The weather was stunning, not a cloud in the sky which made for a very enjoyable day.

His leadership was exceptional. His historical and cultural knowledge was outstanding. We learned so much about this area. Fantastic! Our driver/guide was very genuine, friendly and great driver. The stops were fantastic & the lake incredible. Not recommended for people with mobility issues as there were a lot of stops (in & out of van). Highly recommend this tour!

The are of Gorges de Verdon was familiar and nice. The road was winding , althougt the driver was very skilled most of the passengers were scared. The tour guide did not heed the passengers request to drive more slowly, instead he recommend to take a private trip. The excessive haste in destination villages was disturbing. The trip could be a 1 hour longer but in slower mood to enjoy it.

We had a great time on our tour! The canyon was spectacular and a highlight of our trip! My husband and I rent a peddle boat and had a wonderful time! We also enjoyed the stop in Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, a local village known for pottery and got some wonderful keep sakes! I would highly recommend this tour, with two pieces of advice, 1) if you are easily car or motion sickness the rounds are very winding and high so it may be a difficult journey for you 2) each stop is very short (with 1 hour in the canyon) so it goes by very quickly, however without the tour we not ever have been able to go and it is so worth the visit!

We booked this day trip while staying in Nice for our honeymoon. Safe to say it was a great decision - one of the most memorable parts of our stay! Daniel was a great guide - friendly, knowledgable, and made the experience even more enjoyable. There were a number of great stops along the way, places you wouldn’t be able to get to without hiring your own car. The views were incredible. The Gorge itself was breathtaking - we were so glad we were able to experience it. We had over an hour and chose to rent a pedalo, which was the perfect amount of time to enjoy it. Simply a must do! Full day out through the beautiful French countryside. The roads are winding so if you tend to get motion sickness take some precautions and maybe sit up front.

It was fun but if you get nausea easily or drink/party the day before it might be extremely difficult of a trip because of all the winding roads. Beautiful views though and Gouda our driver was super time efficient. I really appreciated him for that. He tries to make the most of your time! He was awesome!

Mario was a fantastic guide on our journey to the Gorges du Verdon. His passion for this part of the country was palpable, and it radiated throughout our group as the day progressed.
The itinerary is fast-paced but necessary to fit in so many wonderful stops. Moustiers-Sainte-Marie is every bit as beautiful as described, and Lac de Sainte-Croix does not disappoint (the water really is that blue in person). Spending a full day at each of these locations would still leave you wanting more time.
A few good tips for this trip: bring a swimsuit, and if you get carsick easily, come prepared as the roads are winding. Mario did an excellent job checking in on us throughout the day to make sure it wasn’t affecting us too much. Several pit stops along the way also help ease any motion sickness.
This has been the highlight of our trip and we would highly recommend it if you are considering venturing out from Nice.

Mario was an excellent guide! He gave us so much history and information throughout the whole day, and organized things perfectly. Beautiful stops, and a packed day to make the most of the time! It was also great to be picked up and dropped off right at our hotel/airbnb! The only thing to mention is that it is a long car ride up and down lots of windy roads. If you easily get car sick, this may be a more difficult ride for you. Our guide was great about making stops and ensuring everyone was comfortable the whole day!

We were a group of eight and had an unforgettable day exploring the Verdon Gorge with Mario as our guide. From the very beginning, he made us feel welcome and created a great atmosphere in the group. Mario was knowledgeable, fun, and full of engaging stories and anecdotes about the area, which made the hike even more enjoyable. He took great care to ensure everyone was comfortable and safe throughout the day.
What made the experience even more special was that, after the tour, Mario sent us a beautiful video with photos and highlights from the day, an amazing souvenir that we'll all treasure. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a well-organized, memorable adventure in the Verdon Gorge!

Raphael was a wonderful guide. He talked about interesting facts for each of our sites and places we passed along the way. He adjusted the route to cut down on the time we spent in traffic so that we wouldn't lose any time at our stops. He kept us involved and interested with little quizzes, and he always made sure we knew what the schedule was. We even had time for an extra stop. I would definitely recommend this trip to others.

It’s a great tour that allows visits to a couple of unbelievably amazing towns in the mountains above Nice. Upon arriving at the lake, we were able to rent watercraft (many types were available) and spend about an hour on the lake. The towns were scenic and picturesque, and offered great dining and drink options. Our guide, Nicola, was fantastic! He’s knowledgeable and personable, making sure that all had a great time.

Mario was an EXCEPTIONAL tour guide. He picked us up right on time and made sure we were well prepared. He made us girls traveling together feel super safe and helped us immerse ourselves into the experience and culture. His depth of historical knowledge is awe-inspiring and we could each tell he is truly passionate about what he does. I will be recommending this excursion, specifically with Mario as tour guide to all of my friends and hope to return to the South of France soon!!! At the end of the tour he sent us a video he created using footage gathered from our day which brought tears of joy to my eyes. I will forever cherish this dear memory. I also appreciate Mario's flexibility as he expertly helped us navigate unexpected rain and made sure it did not negatively impact our experience whatsoever! This is a great one day trip to several very pretty areas. Gouda was a great driver. It goes from 8 am - 6 pm round trip. Stops sometimes are short, but necessary to fit it all the sites in one day. Great overview.

Our driver, Raphael, made this trip interesting and a good outing. I think the travel company may need to clarify some items on their description as we were under the impression there would be more time at the lake. Honestly we liked the lake, the town before the lake, and the lavender fields the best and would prefer more time at the lake versus time at villages or perfumeries. However, always nice to be in the country.
