We very much enjoyed our trip. Our guide was a great, friendly and punctual guy who made us feel safe and well entertained for the entire drive. The tour includes stunning views and lovely little towns, especially Mustiers Sainte-Marie was a place we would have loved to stay even longer. Our guide was very flexible in how long to spend at each stop, so we recommend mentioning if you have any preferences. He was also a great help in recommending and making bookings for dinner on our return to Nice. All in all a great experience and a highlight of our vacation!

The trip was very enjoyable with stops at lavender fields and Gorge Verdon. The driver was very discreet and drove very carefully through the windy roads.

Confirm Lavender Still There Before Booking

There were a few glitches, but overall we had a good (albeit long) day. Note: This should be advertised as a 12-hour tour. It was really rushed as 10 hours, 4 of which were on super windy roads and passengers in the back of the van felt queasy. (Note: You may want to bring meds for motion sickness.) The first thing our driver told us was that there may or may not be lavender in the fields when we got there because of the heat wave and farms deciding to cut the lavender early this year. Not his fault obviously, but for most of us, the lavender fields were the main point of the trip so that was distressing to hear. I recommend confirming what’s going on with the lavender fields with the tour operators before you book. We also had to negotiate with the driver to give us an hour for lunch. He had planned just a quick pitstop in the second town on the way. We originally booked a later start time, but the tour company moved our start time earlier to combine us with another group of travelers. The earlier start time meant no one got to eat breakfast, so we were all surprised when the driver expected us to skip lunch as well. He eventually agreed to stop for lunch but we then had less time for the lake in Gorges du Verdon. In the end, there was still lavender in the fields and everyone was happy. We only had 30 mins at the lake, which was fine for me but not long enough to do any activities there (swimming, kayaking, paddle boats), if that’s important to you. A lovely day overall — just a bit rushed and not a lot of communication about what to expect.

Avoid this tour if you get motion sickness

If you are prone to motion sickness, DO NOT take this tour. Our driver drove way too fast on a very curvy road and it made the trip miserable. We even asked him to slow down but he wouldn’t.

No one picked us up. No phone call or email. We waited for over 2 hours and had to call several numbers as offices not open. We got a notice saying “we should receive a refund” but no explanation as to what happened. Unacceptable and unprofessional. Do not book with this company

Your booking was reserved before few hours for the pick up time It's not our fault that you don't see your email before the departure date . Also all our clients find us easily . our number is shared with all peoples and our WhatsApp .we answer every one in the moment. We are available 24/24 hours .

Blooming lavender field and deep french Canyon

We got a guide all to ourselves. Hurray! Stephan was very knowledgeable and flexible with stops. Our family enjoyed the tour. Plus blooming lavenders were a big plus. The whole reason we came to Nice. I thought we'd go to lavender factory after. We didn't. Not a big deal. Wife wanted to see the process. I would probably watch it too. Lavender flowers smell wonderful

Unsere Fahrerin kannte sich leider nicht gut aus und konnte teilweise einfache Fragen nicht beantworten. Mittags mussten wir über 1 Stunde warten weil die Fahrerin mit anderen Reisenden noch beim Essen war und daher zu spät kamen. Wir konnten mit dem Kajak in die Schlucht fahren, das hat den Ausflug gerettet, ansonsten wäre es katastrophal gewesen. Es war nicht gut organisiert und einfach zu teuer für den Wert. Besser selber hinfahren oder mit einer anderen Agentur.

Hello Dear, We are really sorry that your turn did not go well. After checking the driver gave you the choice to go around with the rest of the group or whether you stay in the Gorges du Verdon (it was your suggestion). Also it is not at all fair that everyone stays with you and he doesn't want to kayak. there was a niche to respect for all to visit.
