Nice tour; driver Tony was very pleasant. Beautiful scenery. However, title is misleading in that there is no lunch. In a 6 hour tour, 10 am-4 pm ! Just a smallish charcuterie board. Tasty, but barely appetizer sized. 22 alcohol tastings; not enough food. Chocolate truffle tasting was fun. I suggest if you go, until this company gets its act together, you can order and pay separately for extra food possibly at the first stop, Greif (?), and certainly at the 4th, Chateau des Charmes. We bought a cheese tray and cheese puffs at CDC to supplement the nice chocolate tasting.

Ad clearly states that you will receive a Picnic Board Cheese and Charcuterie Board for lunch, which happens to be quite substantial.

Stunning autumn day in Ontario. Five different wineries/distilleries - lots of variety for your wine or spirits. Lovely hosts at each location, willing to share and teach this wine newbie. Our driver host, Don Sexsmith, is a treasure! Extremely gregarious and entertaining while keeping us on schedule. So very glad he was driving - I may have been slightly impaired after that many tastings.
The charcuterie board is beautiful and definitely needed to pace yourself. The chocolates are luscious with many flavor pairings and textures
NOTE: Several bottles went home with us and there would have been many more if we could have gotten or shipped them over the Canada/USA border. Considering another trip in the future...

My wife and I booked this wine tour through Viator. We liked the idea of it being a smaller tour with more winery visits than the other tours. We were visiting Niagara Falls from Michigan for our anniversary and thought why not try to visit some wineries and Niagara on the lake. Our tour driver Don, was the best. He was knowledgeable of the area, the wines, and the wineries too. We had a history lesson of the area and that made our experience very enjoyable. He picked us up at our hotel and then proceeded to pick up another couple visiting from North Carolina. It just so happened that their anniversary was the same day as ours. We had a great time Just the four of us and we fell in love with the Ice wines. I must add that the tour is labeled as a 6-Hour Wine, Cheese, Chocolate Tasting Tour with Lunch. They list a visit to six wineries but we only visited five of them. I am told that the reason is in case Viator can't reserve one of the wineries, they have a backup. I still think it is false advertising but we had a great time learning about the area, and the history of the Niagara Falls wine-making region.

Thanks for your review :). So happy you enjoyed Don and the wineries you visit. I am sorry that you missed the line in the tour description that specifically states that we list an extra winery as a backup in case we can't get into one of the others., but it is in there LOL. Nonetheless, it sound like you had a great time and we can't wait to see you again.

If you like wine, particularly whites and Canadian ice wines you will love the endless sampling on this tour. I was pleasantly surprised with our guide, Marko, and his personable charm and desire to accommodate and make our trip special.
There were favorites and least favorite( Château des Charmes) far as wineries, absolutely plenty of wines to choose from.
Chocolate and Gretzky wre definitely nice ways to spice things up.
If you are looking for a nice half-day excursion away from the falls, and are ready to drink, definitely check this out.

We had a super fun day on the Wine, Cheese and Chocolate tour of Niagara on the Lake yesterday. Our tour started with a very pleasant surprise - our private driver, Don, was personable, knowledgeable about the area, and a die-hard Bobby Orr and Boston Bruins hockey fan. He was the best!!! With stops at 5 wineries, we tasted 20 wines (!), had a delicious charcuterie board and stopped at a chocolate factory for some sweets. We are now ice wine converts! Great day, great introduction to the area and definitely worth the price we paid. Definitely a winner!

Notre guide John était excellent. Maîtrise l’histoire de la région et est très sympathique. Nous étions avec un couple d’Oshawa avec qui on va refaire l’expérience l’an prochain avec John. Souvenirs parfaits.
