Golden Bay In a Day
Wow what a day- we were greeted by Zane in Nelson. Zane was a friendly and knowledgeable guide who drove us through the Golden Bay Area. He suggested an add on of a two hour boat trip up through Abel Tasman Park with Wilson boat company which was excellent seeing everything from magnificent rock formations to a seal colony. When Zane met us off the boat we proceeded to many excellent
Locations including Ngarua cave & spectacular Te Waikoropupu Springs. The drive through the mountains on the way back was also spectacular. Many great photo opportunities. Lunch at the beach was also delicious. Thanks Zane for a wonderful day seeing so many aspects of Golden Bay. Highly recommended.

I had a fantastic time. I believe Golden Bay is very much underrated, but it has many gems and hidden secrets that is worth exploring. Elissa is a great guide with deep knowledge of the area, especially the flora and fauna. She was able to share the unique features and medicinal benefits of the plants that we come across. Although I was initially told that I might not get a chance to see much wildlife in New Zealand, Elissa helped to prove that wrong as she was pointing out some of the birds and wildlife that is unique to New Zealand, throughout the journey. And I would like to believe that our day was really blessed, especially a beautiful double rainbow appeared as we made our way back to Nelson. So, overall, I had an enriching experience, and being personally hosted by an expert like Elissa was certainly a bonus.

We had another great day out on the Golden Bay in a Day tour. The scenery was spectacular, lunch was great and our guide was phenomenal. Was great to see some places that are typically only experienced by tourists that are hiking and camping around the South Island.

Zayn our driver and guide for the day was very involved in his role.
We discovered amazing places and he always had a lot of informations to tell us about history, geography and economics of this region.

We had a great day exploring all these extraordinary places at Golden Bay. Wayne, the tourguide, told us so much about nature, history and the Maori culture, so we learned something about New Zealand. On top of that, we had lots of fun!

A nice day except it was a rainy one.
We still enjoyed some famous little track as Wainui Falls, The Grove Scenic Reserve and Te Waikoropupū Springs.
When the weather got worst, we kept us dry inside the cave of Takaka Hill.
We ended the day with a local craft beer tasting at Hop Federation Brewery.
