DO NOT MISS THIS! We had the most amazing time on the kayaking tour. Our guides were AMAZING. They were so friendly and helpful and you could tell they truly love Naxos and their jobs. It is a small group tour with only 4 tandem kayaks (8 participants total) with two guides so you get a very personalized experience and also felt so safe. The water was calm and clear and you learn so much about the island. We loved the stop at the cave and enjoyed swimming, cliff jumping and a light snack. My husband lost his Apple Watch during the cliff jump and our guide went back and was able to find it for us! The kayaking is at a nice pace so even though we have only kayaked once or twice we felt we were able to keep up with the group without problem. We had a car in Naxos so we met our guides at the beach which was just over an hour drive from the Chora area. We felt safe driving the entire time and just took the switchbacks slowly.
I would highly recommend this tour! You will not be disappointed.

Due to poor weather we had to move the tour to Apollonas but it was absolutely beautiful! The guides were soo informative and friendly and made sure we all had a wonderful time! They took pictures along the way to share with us and showed us some amazing private beaches. This was the perfect first tour to start off our honeymoon in Naxos!

Our excursion was booked to go on May 14th but due to high winds it had to be cancelled for safety reasons. They did have room for 2 of us a day later and the weather cooperated. This is a small business run by a few family members. One of the owners, Nick, picked us up at our hotel as we booked the transfer option. It was almost an hour car ride from our hotel to the starting point and along the way Nick told us all about the area we were traveling through and more history, which we LOVE to her about. When we arrived at the marina, we were greeted by David, another owner, who was waiting for us with the 2 person kayaks. It was a small group of only 4 kayaks (8 people) and we liked that. Both Nick and David joined us on the actual kayak to the caves and we felt safe out in the Sea. The water colors were beautiful and the marble and rock formations along the way were stunning. When we arrived at the Rhina Cave David took the 2 of us into the cave on our Kayaks (water was too cold for us “older” folks) while the others beached theirs and swam to the cave with provided snorkels and masks. While we all had some included snacks, Nick and David told us more stories, history and myths about Greece, especially Naxos. It was a then another fantastic kayak back to the marina. On the drive back to our hotel, Nick continued with history of Greece. We felt like we got a 2 for 1 with this excursion. If you are even a little “outdoorsey” I would highly recommend this excursion with Trekking Hellas!

One of the most memorable vacation experiences of my life, this day was fantastic start to finish. Our guides were funny and shared so much knowledge of the islands and mythology. We did not visit the cave due to winds but I have zero complaint they made up for it with an amazing adventure adding in a visit to an oil press museum and an authentic Greek lunch in a village outside of town.

We loved this tour! It was one of our favorite activities on Naxos. Our guides (Nick & David) were so warm, friendly, and knowledgeable - you could tell they loved their jobs, and they answered all of our questions about the island. The highlight of the kayak day was the snorkeling. Due to weather conditions, our tour location was changed to Apollonas (north side of the island), and we snorkeled from a small beach to a nearby cave. The water was calm but deep so I was glad to have brought my own inflatable snorkeling vest since I am a nervous swimmer - but everyone was able to swim it fine and the guides took good care of us. Afterwards, we went to a local tavern and the guides ordered a feast of local fish dishes. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys the outdoors.

The tour did not take place near the rhina cave as intended because of the winds. Instead we met in the north of the island where the experience was just as good. The guys are very fun and knowledgeable and the trip was an all-around great experience

Of course the amazing views but also the history and stories shared about Naxos. The tour guides were friendly, interesting, interested, and knowledgable. I left the tour knowing more about Naxos than I ever expected. Snacks included the best olives I had in Greece! This tour only reinforced my positive perception and experiences with the wonderful people of Naxos.

It’s hard to pick a favorite part of this day- the whole experience was wonderful! David and Nick were the friendliest, we had a fantastic time with them. The kayaking was fun, the water absolutely beautiful. The snorkeling in the cave was unbelievable… I could go on and on!

Nick and David were amazing! They were very knowledgeable and provide a fun way to learn more about Naxos. We loved that it was just our small group and felt like we were really able to learn a lot and interact with our guides. It is definitely the most memorable experience from the island and I would highly recommend it!

This was an amazing experience. Beautiful coastline and the caves/cove were great for swimming and snorkeling. Most of all, the guides were incredible - so warm, enthusiastic, caring, and committed to everyone having fun and learning about glorious Naxos. This is a can’t-miss experience, and must-hire guides.

This is something you do not want to miss while in Naxos! Nick and David are excellent guides with a wealth of knowledge and just overall great people! We felt like we were immediate friends and loved spending our day with them! The tour is a small group of people (usually only 6 guests or less) and they take you to some of the most incredible places along the island that you would otherwise not get to see! They give plenty of time for swimming in between kayaking breaks. They also provide delicious snacks, and our package included a local meal after kayaking was which was amazing! Definitely select the option for the transfer as well- it’s so helpful as it can take a while to get to the starting point of the tour. Thank you again for a great day and we hope to see you both in the future!!!

Fantastic trip, we were picked up and had a super informational ride through the mountains and learned a ton about the area. The actual kayaking was amazing as the weather was perfect and our guides were fantastic. Super personable and informative and they timed our snorkeling around tour boats so we got an uninterrupted view of the cave. Lunch was the best meal of the trip and overall this experience was my favorite. Highly recommend
