This is a must do in Naxos. The way that Sofia shared her family and Kitpon history made you feel like you were a part of their family. The process of harvesting, making, and bottling the liqueur was amazing to see. Everyone was so nice and the entire tour was both fun and delicious. Sofia was a gem, and I can’t recommend doing this enough. She had us laughing, dancing, and learning! You will want to spend all day there sipping on Kitpon and enjoying your time there.

This is a must do in Naxos. The way that Sofia shared her family and Kitpon history made you feel like you were a part of their family. The process of harvesting, making, and bottling the liqueur was amazing to see. Everyone was so nice and the entire tour was both fun and delicious. Sofia was a gem, and I can’t recommend doing this enough. She had us laughing, dancing, and learning! You will want to spend all day there sipping on Kitpon and enjoying your time there.

Beautiful place, amazing history (130 years+), great time to perform cocktails and enjoy those nice "citrons" (leaves). I recommend for people who likes to discover new things and spend a good time drinking cocktails and also dancing (optional though :-))

The Citron Tasting and Cocktail Class was one of the highlights of our trip to Europe. It was educational, engaging, and a lot of fun. Everyone at Promponas was great, and we could not have had a better time with our guide, Sofia. A truly local experience, Promponas is a family business and we got to meet multiple generations - and they made us feel like family too. The tasty drinks didn't hurt either!

Yia mas!! This was an amazing tasting and tour! Our guide/ bartender/ mixologist/ incredibly entertaining host Sophia was so fun and we HIGHLY recommend this experience. We loved it from start to finish. Such a wonderful experience!!

Promponas Distillery was the highlight of our trip to Naxos! Sofia and her family welcomed me and my fiancé in as though we were part of their family. After a tour of the distillery, where we were able to bottle our own citron, we headed to the patio to make three different cocktails. We have been to other cocktail making classes before and this was by far the most fun one we have ever done. Sofia made sure each one of us was having a blast and even got a little competition going between us and the other couple, judging whose cocktails were the best :). We also tasted some citron sweets and snacks to accompany our cocktails, everything was so delicious. After the class we spent the afternoon drinking some more and dancing! We didn’t feel rushed to leave the property at all, the family made us feel so comfortable and even brought out some lemon cello and wine to try as we danced! I could not recommend this tour more. Book it, I promise you won’t regret it!
