The tour company did not supply enough snorkeling equipment for all passengers leaving my daughter and I missing 2 of the 4 stops for the trip. Since I'd already seen the pigs twice before this was an insanely huge disappointment. It's quite literally the only reason I booked this charger over the other. No offer for partial refund. I will be turning this in to my credit card company solely because not a single employee apologized. Not a single one.

This was the best excursion ever! Paid $10 extra for pickup & drop-off right at our resort door. Started at 8am and back by 5pm. We did it all.... fed grapes to iguanas, swam with nurse sharks and actually held them by their bellies. Snorkeling in two places, then swam with and fed pigs. Lunch was simple but authentic Bahamian flavors (chicken, ribs, peas&rice, mac&chz, veggies) right on the water. Unlimited spiked bahama mamas & sky juice, soda & water on the boat. Light breakfast snacks & chips all day. The best of the best, Captain Tony and Mates Q & Ricardo [Cardo] gave all the history & pointed out celebrity owned islands. The water is so many shades of beautiful blues and totally breathtaking. The speedboat is fast but we felt safe and cool breeze through out. Take lots of sunscreen and underwater camera or GoPro. Earplugs if you are sensitive to loud "groove" music. Life vests on board of needed & clean snorkeling gear.

BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! One of my favorite days of my whole life lol. My mom and I went together and we had a great time! Everyone in our group was so friendly and fun and the Shore thing staff members were amazing! I loved the boat ride and the music we played was a great vibe. We had Johnny and Q as our tour guides and they were super knowledgeable and a lot of fun. Our captain Tony was amazing too. This was such a great bang for your buck — unlimited drinks and the lunch included was traditional food from the Bahamas which was really special. The restaurant was at this beautiful remote island where the views were incredible. We got to see and feed iguanas, pigs, and sharks. Definitely recommend this as a must do for anyone going to Nassau!! Totally worth the price to see the original pig beach and so much more.

There was severe wind and a small craft advisory so the trip to Exuma was not possible. This is no fault of the company of course. However we elected to do a harbor tour instead and were promised a refund for the difference in cost. After many reminders and messages back and forth I have not received a refund. We were advised we would still get to see the iguanas which was important to me. We were brought to an iguana - it was a Mexican pet iguana and was tame, but not a Bahamian Rock Iguana so that was disappointing. The crew was nice, but it was very misleading and I am upset that I never received the refund. Very unprofessional. They should not have offered the other tour if they could not process a refund and they should have been more transparent about the iguana situation.

We do not get paid until after you have done the tour. As for the iguanas, we were totally unaware that you needed details pertaining to the one you will see on the Taste of Nassau tour. As you mentioned we do not control Mother nature and sometimes for safety purpose we have to offer an alternative tour. if you are ever in the Bahamas again and want to take the Ultimate Exuma tour to see the rock iguana we would more than happy to offer you a discount. THIS IS A SCAM. DO NOT BOOK. Shore thing escapes the operator cancelled on us twice via messages but never through the booking. We have never received a refund and lost $1.7k we paid.

Crew was very nice and attentive. The stops were amazing. Beyond that, the music was too incredibly loud and the ride both ways was too fast- very bumpy and we were wind blown, especially on the return. I don’t recommend this excursion.

I had to laugh when I read your message because we clearly state in the briefing that we do not control the weather, and that include the wind. The music is at that level for you to hear it because you are on the ocean, and additionally the speed of the boat is regulated to get you there and back in a timely manner. As far as the bumpy ride again we do not control the motion of the ocean. I just wished you could have understood that and not rate on things that is out of our control.

A wonderfully curated, well thought out tour into the magics of Bahamas Exuma.
The crew, especially Jojo - was a delight. We were travelling as a queer couple (there was another queer couple in the crowd), and they made us feel welcomed.
Each stop of the tour was a delight where we felt fully taken care of, from the iguanas, the snorkellings, the sharks, and the pigs - there were sufficient time and the entire tour felt like it was curated by a master orchestra conductor - perfectly capturing our energy levels, raising the stakes, and relaxing when we needed to.

The Nassau to Exuma full day trip experience was amazing. This was absolutely worth it. This is the best way to swim with the pigs, feed iguanas, and hold a nurse shark. If you want to walk away with a bunch of amazing photos of your experience Shore Things Escapes is providing the experience for you.
Here’s a much more detailed review:
We went on February 18, 2025.
They messaged us the night before and told us what time the shuttle van would pick us up from our hotel.
They had a complementary breakfast, which is really just some granola type bars you’d buy at the grocery store. They recommend that you don’t travel on their speedboat with a full stomach anyways.
It felt like the first part of the boat ride was about 45 minutes. We sat directly behind the captain/driver. The wind was crazy loud and luckily I brought earplugs because I read other reviews about the loud music. The crew was really nice and recognized this and had us move to the seats in front of the captain. It was amazing the difference just changing seats made. It was much more quiet and we weren’t behind the big speakers so the music was not as loud as well. When we got off the boat on the first stop the crew asked how they could accommodate us with the music noise. Everyone on the crew was so nice. Depending what type of an experience you want to have I would talk to the crew before you get on the ship to see which seat would best accommodate what you’re looking for.
I read reviews about people complaining that they were not at locations long enough. For each location where we got to take pictures with wildlife I felt like we were there with plenty of time to get amazing photos. The crew kept asking if everybody got their photo before we left.
The first stop was a feeding iguanas, which was really fun. As mentioned above, I felt like we were there for the perfect amount of time to get lots of amazing photos. When we got back on the ship, they provided snacks. Any time we’re on the boat they offered drink refills.
The second stop was the Pablo Escobar’s plane, wreck, snorkeling. It was very interesting to see.
The third stop was snorkeling at the Exuma Land and Sea Park. There were fish everywhere. This was a really cool snorkeling stop.
The fourth stop was Pig Beach. This was the whole reason I booked this trip. It was so fun. For anybody who wanted to swim with the pigs, they let us jump out of the boat and it was awesome. Then everyone came to the shore and we fed the pigs on the beach. They made sure everyone got a chance to feed the pigs and get a once in a lifetime photo. They even got a baby piglet from the person running the beach so everyone who wanted could get a photo holding it.
The fifth stop was lunch. It was macaroni and cheese, rice and peas, vegetables, chicken and ribs. If you wanted more, you could go and get more. We had a great view of the ocean while we ate. The description of the trip said we would jump off the dock, but never did that. But that’s OK that seemed like the least interesting thing of the whole trip anyways. Food in the Bahamas is expensive so this is a great inclusion with the trip.
The sixth stop was Compass cay, where we fed the nurse sharks. This was so much fun and we got the most incredible photos here. There were sharks and fish everywhere. Again, the crew made sure everybody got an incredible photo before we got back in the boat.
The seventh stop was the private beach. Unfortunately, it felt like they got us off the beach early. And we didn’t get to enjoy it as long as we should have. We got back to their office earlier than planned so we definitely could have spent more time at the beach.
The boat ride home felt like another 45 minutes. And then there was a shuttle ride back to your hotel.
I would recommend packing a sweater or something to wear on the boat since it can get really windy and cold. Obviously lots of sunblock.
You do spend a lot of time on the boat since you are traveling a far distance from each stop. I wish there was less time on the boat, but that’s the only way to experience all of these incredible stops that are far away from each other.
We walked away with a ton of incredible photos. If you want the most amazing photo book or social media pics this is the trip for you.

Overall a great trip. If you are looking for a trip that sees a bit of everything around Nassau’s islands, you will see it in this trip. Be prepared to be on the boat along time, with many stops. Something we weren’t expecting. It’s more fast boat ride than being on land. The stops are cool- very touristy and very short. The lunch was good. We all had a great time.

This was probably the worst experience I’ve had. They never showed up and never communicated for any type for update. Spent $80 round trip on a taxi just to be cancelled with out notice. I recommend NEVER to book with this company again. Vitour has been helpful trying to get me a refund but the company that does the tour is absolute TRASH!!! Other costumers were there by 6:30am and were there two hours waiting.

We had a great day out on the water. There is quite a bit of transport time down to exuma and I wish I had remembered to bring towels, but Captain Tony, JoJo and Jason served drinks and kept the energy up the whole time. We saw all the highlights and the crew was great with my 6 year old. Lunch was wonderful. The price is very reasonable for this full day excursion.

Absolutely our favorite part of the trip! Make sure you bring easy on/off clothes, sunscreen and a warm layer when driving on the boat. Jason and the crew were the life of the party-boat and extremely knowledgeable about the stops and wildlife we encountered. We booked this for the pigs but the other stops (iguana, sharks and lunch) turned out to be our favorites. Would 100/10 recommend this tour over others - this is a full day trip (6:30am-5pm with transportation) and they throw in so many extras like the snacks/drinks/lunch. Extra shout out to Jason for being hilarious and making sure everyone was safe and having fun!

The experience in itself was great. They do cover a lot of spots but the time at each spot is very less. Would still rate the experience as 5 stars and a must do in Paradise Island.
I took two stars off because the description says breakfast will be provided. We relied on that and did not eat before leaving. No beeakfast was provided. It should be removed from the description, if it is not going to be provided.
Second star off because this experience is not for kids 5 and under. We took out almost 3 yr old and he was scared the whole time on the boat. The ride was quite long, loud and bumpy. This experience should be rated as suitable only for kids 5 and up.

As it pertains to breakfast items, due to allergy issues we are trying to package snacks for breakfast that people could read the label. As for your five-year-old, we have had younger children on the boat that was not afraid, but everybody is different and have different fears. Now that you have discovered that he is afraid of fast boats, maybe you can arrange something else in the future. Some children enjoy the fast boat adventure. Fast boat can get bumpy but was fine. You don’t get a long time at each stop but if you want to see Exuma it’s worth the trip. It’s one of the most beautiful places on earth. Captain Tony, Q, and crew made it a great experience. Would recommend it.

This is the best tour I’ve ever had. The crews are so experienced and caring. They make sure everyone is good and safe. All of the 7 spots we visited are amazing. We have a lot of chances to get close to the animals safely. Really love the music playlist we have during the boat ride. Good music and good vibes! Love the design of the reusable water bottle provided as well which is eco- friendly and it ensures no liquid is spilled during the boat ride. The beverage and lunch is good. Overall 100 out of 100. A must to do in Bahamas.

Amazing experience! I thought the water in Nassau was crystal clear but exuma is just on another level.
The tour was amazing. I enjoyed every single stop. The snorkeling in the seaquarium was my favorite part. The amount of different fish, corals, and the water was incredible experience. I also have to note that the crew was very professional. They made sure everything went right and that we were safe at all times. In addition, they make sure you have fun!!!

They say island time they were an hour late, picking us up and we did not receive any phone call to tell us so the water was very chappy. I would not recommend if you have back issues. The spots we went were amazing and incredible and it was so beautiful got to see the iguanas were such a treat and went to a private island. Had a wonderful lunch. We also went to see the pigs and the people that helped on the boat were amazing. I am disabled and I need a lot of help walking up ladders and down ladders they
