We had a wonderful tour guide ,named Niko , very informative! He took us to Fort Monique , Queens Staircase , and rum cake factory . Very nice day !!

The tour was different from any I have taken through Viator. While the driver was very friendly, he dropped our tour group of four off in each location and left us to fend for ourselves. I was expecting he would show us around, but he didn’t. He left and usually arrived back ten to fifteen minutes later than he told us to meet him at a certain spot.

There are samples of rum, but many more morsels of useful information.
Nico, the world's best tour guide (he assured us) gave us great facts about Nassau. He also tested us on the information. I didn't test very well. But the tour was great, giving us a brief overview of Bahamian history and culture.
There was a nice stop for lunch. And lastly, the air conditioning on the bus was splendid.

Not much of a tour; the person who did the tour just drove us to a couple places but we didn’t really stopped to explore much; it’s didn’t seem as interesting as I would have thought; the tour guide also spent too much time on personal calls during the tour!

Excellent tour and the tour guide was really patient to wait for 35 minutes to allow an extremely late comer to join. He was very friendly and we all had a great time.

Our experience was consistent with many of the past negative reviews. Tour felt like a bait and switch scam. No clear information on pick up. The driver showed up 20 min late while we fended off the swarm of tour operators trying to solicit business. No wifi, no bottled water. Disinterested driver. Basically a drive thru of some tourist spots. The published itinerary is fake. Oh yes, no free samples at the distillery - everything is paid. Only bright spot - the ac worked. Totally not worth what they are charging for this.

Unfortunately, I would not recommend this tour. I’ve used Viator in the past and never had any problems until I went on this tour. This was the most unorganized, unprofessional tour I’ve ever been on. First, we couldn’t find the meeting place. After asking several people who worked for different tour companies we happened upon the right meeting point. There was no professional employee to direct the group. No one holding a sign with the name of the tour. No clearly marked Viator employee in sight. The tour began at least 20 minutes late after someone called the company for our group. We were never asked for a confirmation number for our booking. We were herded a long to a shuttle bus with no clear markings. We were supposed to visit 3 forts, and we only visited one. Also, it was clearly stated that admission fee for the forts were included in our tour pricing. Yet, when we arrived at the one fort we did tour, we were expected to pay the admission fee. I questioned our tour guide and he said it wasn’t included. I had the information in writing that it was included. We even witnessed another tour guide walk up and pay for the tourists on his bus. That’s when I knew that our tour guide was getting a “kickback” from his friends collecting the admission fee at the fort. At our last stop called The Fish Fry, our tour guide told us which restaurant was his favorite and strongly encouraged us to patronize that particular establishment. He even escorted us across the street into the restaurant. In my opinion, that just solidified that he was receiving some kind of kickback from that particular restaurant. My husband and I declined going into that restaurant and chose another one. When we returned to the meeting point at the agreed upon time and place, the tour guide and bus were nowhere to be found. Someone in the group had to go look around for him. There were other unsettling things that happened but you get the picture. I’m not sure if this is typical for Nassau, but now I’m reluctant to use Viator for my next trip that I’ve already booked. After this experience, I’m considering canceling our upcoming Viator excursion.

Our guide was great and very informative. Our only concern was that we got a late start and then were on the tour an extra hour taking other people to their hotels .we missed out on time to eat lunch and shop because we had to get back on our ship.

It was advertised that we would go to Fort Charlotte, however we were told that we didn't have time for that. Yet were brought to Arawak Cay food vendors for 1.5 hours, directly pushed into Twin Brothers restaurant. It was clear there was some sort of partnership there between that restaurant and the tour guide/company. Food was extremely expensive in the restaurant, so we only ordered conch fritters which were okay. Restaurant bathrooms were disgusting and needed serviced. Worse than any gas station bathroom, so nasty, especially a slap in the face after giving us a menu with such high prices.
Didn't make sense that we weren't able to go to the fort but had to spend 1.5 hours in that tourist trap.
Another thing that rubbed me the wrong way, at the Queen's staircase, our tour guide basically outsourced his work to some guy who told us the history of the staircase, making us feel obligated to tip him.
Overall, it wasn't the absolute worst, but it definitely wasn't good. I would not recommend this tour.

This tour was a great experience! We were staying at Atlantis and they picked us up right at the hotel. We got to see old forts, have some conch fritters, and visit a rum distillery. Traveling with my uncle and his '80s and my nephew in his early twenties, and I'm in my '50s, and we all loved it. Highly recommend!

This was the best tour in Nassau! Niko was amazing, full of knowledge, very considerate, fun guy and made it the best day ever! Even tho it rained, Niko still made it a fun adventure and returned to locations once it cleared up. His knowledge about the history of the island is commendable….we learned so much! From famous rum cakes, to eating at the fish fry, we will cherish this experience for life!

Arrived 25 minutes late, non responsive when they were running late (had to contact Viator), WiFi broken, missed parts of itinerary, had no bottled water (though they bought iit when asked)

I would give it 3/5 as overall it was good. Nikko our tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable. He responds well to all of our questions. As a solo traveller, I feel safe with this tour. The van had good A/C as well. The downside of the tour is that we missed three spots. We were supposed to spend time at Junkanoo beach, but we just passed by it. Given the prices of gas and the commodities in Bahamas, despite how relatively short the tour was, i think the price is reasonable. Not mad about it. I had a good time overall anyways
