Itinerary
Following pickup at your hotel in Nassau, transfer to the marina and board the powerboat for an adventurous day exploring some less-visited Bahamian islands.
Stop at Allen's Cay to see the population of endangered rock iguanas. A closely monitored population, the successful breeding program has left the tiny island with more than 1,000 iguanas for you to feed and photograph.
Back on board your powerboat, the captain will hit the gas and you'll fly off toward Ship Channel Cay. The island is just 2 miles (3km) long and a half-mile (1km) wide, affording great views of the sea in every direction.
Stroll the shores or make use of the complimentary snorkel equipment to explore the undersea world. Float over coral reefs, see tiny fish feeding on the underwater plant life or feed the local stingrays and sharks with your guide.
Grab a drink from the island bar, then dig into a lunch of island grouper, salads, bread, chargrilled steak and tropical fruit platters.Observe the preparation of a fresh Bahamian conch salad, a staple dish in the Bahamas, then taste the results.
At the conclusion of your day exploring, return to Nassau for drop-off at your hotel.

No snorkeling what so ever. We only booked for that reason and could not use our own equipment even. False advertising. Otherwise workers were polite and food was good.

The price of this adventure was not worth the money. In short, this was a pricey speedboat ride and lunch.
Feeding the iguanas was on, but limited to a very small beach and about 15 mins.
The original ad for this adventure included a guided snorkel tour, but that never happened. Rather, we went to their private island and stayed there for nearly 3 hours. We were only allowed to wade in the water. They got very made when you tried to snorkel off their shore.
The pigs were there own captive pigs. And the shark show was them throwing bait to the sharks and then reeling them in.

Wonderful people and a beautiful experience. We loved every moment! Skilled people who helped at all points.

Considering the tour was cancelled and I received NO correspondence about the tour being cancelled and a month later I have not received my money back, I would not recommend. It is outrageous that I have to file a claim to get a refund on a tour that was knowingly cancelled.

We took a Power Boat tour to Exuma's. They owned (or lease) the island. It was amazing experience. I was a little concerned traveling on the ocean for over an hour each way. But I think we got lucky with low tide. The ride was easy.
I was also concerned about safety. But the tour operator had 7 people on staff for a boat size about 50 people. More than enough in case of emergency.
Once we got to the island, it was a magical experience! They had food for us. Nothing fancy, but good enough! I was not there for the food lol.
I'm not really a nature guy and thought I would fear the pigs, stingrays, and iguanas. But I was at ease once I saw everyone else interacting with them. Having said that, one iguana did try to bite my daughter's finger, instead of going after the food. This had to be intentional as the grape was on a long stick. But we just laughed it off. I was still afraid of the sharks LOL, even though everything I read about nurse sharks is that they are harmless (generally speaking). The remoteness and crystal-clear water was breath taking. This was the best experience of my 51-year life. Don't be afraid, Go! Go! Go! You only live once.
Having said the above, they could have communicated with us better or prepared a FAQ page so that we don't ask too many questions. They should state that they will pick you up at the hotel lobby, where taxi drop off and pick up is. This will make it clearer. We did stay at Atlantis, and the meeting point was very close by. I could have been a long walk, but do 'able. Its just under the bridge on the island side. We actually did not leave until 9:45, but that was fine. We were back around 5PM. Still felt the time on the island was perfect. We were ready to go by 2:30 and did not leave until 3. So, it was totally fine. I just did some surfing on the phone waiting. The bartender, Steve, was wonderful. He told us we could Airbnb a couple of houses they have for $1K a night. If you load up 8 people, it won't be so bad. I will def do one night when I retire!

This was one of the best excursions I have done! This was the best part of my Bahamas vacation. My son and I had a mommy and me day away from the resort and it was nothing short of spectacular! Conch salad was the best on the island. The buffet was very filling and a lot of options. The staff were professional and so amazing!

The staff at Powerboat Adventures are so nice and you will love the private island. It’s beautiful and they prepare a wonderful lunch and feeding sting rays is awesome as well. The shark show is fantastic as well.
