Stefani, our guide was amazing! She made it so that we all got to know each other and interact with each other and we really had a ball! She was extremely knowledgeable, sweet, and a lot of fun! Our group was fabulous! The drinks were truly diverse and the food great! This is a MUST DO TOUR !

What a great tour! The lounges we visited were all first class and the cocktails and food were top notch! Our guide Lauren was very knowledgeable about the history of the Nashville and the places we visited! She also gave us a lot of great ideas on places to see and things to do! All in all an experience I would recommend to anyone!

Of the many food tours my husband and I have done in various cities, this was our favorite! The drinks and bites were delectable and we felt like the experience was well worth the money. The chosen venues were higher end, but not stuffy, and they were all locally owned (which was an added bonus). We would happily return to all of them. The featured cocktails included spirits I don’t normally choose for myself (whiskey, gin) but they were all genuinely DELICIOUS and I was surprised at how much I liked everything! My husband and I both left feeling comfortably buzzed, but definitely not overly so, and we were able to continue afterwards with a few more fun stops in Nashville that night. Christine was a wonderful guide, and the other tour-goers were a fun group. If you’re considering this experience, do it!

This tour needs better organization. I booked my spot two months in advance and created an itinerary for my weeklong stay in Nashville. The Viator ticket and website stated that the 3 hour tour would start at 4 PM. Two weeks before the trip, a friend of mine was able to join me so I encouraged her to buy a ticket. The friend was able to purchase direct from Stefanie, the tour guide for slightly cheaper and was informed that the tour starts at 3 PM not 4 PM. Other than my friend telling me about this time change, I was never updated by Viator or the operating company “A Little Local Flavor.” The day before the tour and on the day of, I kept checking Viator website for the time update or thinking they might resend a new ticket but that did not happen. I even had my friend recheck with her tour guide since that was her original connect— and it was confirmed that our tour was for 3 PM. I thought that this disconnect between Viator and “A Little Local Flavor” was irresponsible and unorganized, because I would’ve definitely shown up at 4 PM— the time shown on the ticket and sent in the email. OK, so the tour itself: My friend was instructed by the guide via text to meet in the lobby. But the lobby was being used by hotel guests for teatime, making it busy and difficult for the two of us to be found. We wandered around until someone noticed us looking about; the hostess of the café helped us to find the basement bar where the guide was with our tour mates. I think the tour guides should wear an ID badge so we could better find them. I hope this is found to be constructive criticism because that is how I mean for it to be. Our tour good was very kind and offered to take pictures for us at each of our stops. The group visited 4 restaurants/bars on the 3 hour tour. Each stop had its own ambience and luckily our tour group had really nice people. One stop was on a beautiful rooftop where we were able to take nice pictures. Our cocktails were a good variation, explained in detail and paired with light bites that tasted good too. Not sure if I would call the foods “fine dining;” one dish was pimento cheese and crackers. Again, all dishes were good…maybe just not fine dining in my opinion. I recommend this tour so that you can get a taste and feel of what Nashville used to be like— some of these older buildings have such a rich history. It was nice to view the architecture and appreciate the beauty all while learning why these buildings were structured and/or painted the way they were.
