Our hosts were delightful, informative, warm, well organized teachers. The whole afternoon was well planned and fun. Our family of five thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our time in their home. We loved making three types of onigiri and then had quite the feast while getting to know each other. This was a highlight of our trip. Don’t miss out!

Thank you very much for choosing us for such a special day for your family. We are grateful that all your family enjoyed Onigiri making.
It was also heartwarming for us to talk about cultural difference and something in common. We got many findings while spending the time together and we hope your family too!
We sincerely wish that this Japan trip will be a wonderful time. Please keep making onigiri after coming back to your country!

I had such a great time! After visiting Nara Park, I wanted to do something where I could actually talk with local people, and this activity was perfect. Mune-san, the host, was super kind and fun to talk to. I learned about onigiri and washoku, and even made three onigiri myself. They were a bit tricky, but I pulled it off.. and I was pretty proud of them!
At the end, they served a delicious meal with the onigiri I made. It was really nice to eat together and chat with the hosts. I totally recommend this to anyone who wants more than just “sightseeing.” Whether you’re traveling solo, or with a partner or group, you’ll have a great time and make some really good memories.

We are so glad you enjoyed the experience. Onigiri you made were incredibly beautiful—we were amazed!
We would be happy if you could make them for yourself to eat daily.
