What a fantastic experience from start to finish! The tour was well‑structured, informative, and offered a fascinating look into every stage of Kenyan coffee production, all set within a beautiful and peaceful estate.
What truly made the tour exceptional was our guide, Elvis. His passion for coffee, deep knowledge of the process, and engaging way of explaining each step made the experience unforgettable. He was friendly, patient, and always ready to answer any question with enthusiasm and clarity.
The coffee tasting at the end was the perfect finale, made even better by understanding the craft behind every cup—thanks to Elvis.

Guides do an amazing job. The operator arranges for hotel pick ups which worked out perfect for us since we booked a hotel near to the airport.
Quite expensive though.

I was waiting at the time that was listed (9:30) and nobody showed up so at 9:32 I sent a message and no response. I sent multiple messages and waited another 40 minutes. Nobody ever showed up or responded to my messages.

We booked this based on the excellent previous reviews and we were right to do so! Really interesting and informative tour of the Fairview Coffee Estate. Elvis our guide was engaging and informative and really made the tour! Obed our driver picked us up from our hotel and was an excellent driver- it was really easy to get to. Overall I would really recommend this tour. My teenage children also thoroughly enjoyed it - one of the highlights of our trip to Kenya.

I had an amazing experience on the coffee plantation. Elvis was our tour guide; he was endearing, knowledgeable, and funny. We learned about the different types of coffee beans, walking through the plantation, leaned about the coffee making process, and also has a coffee tasting at the end.

James, our guide, was knowledgeable about the entire production of coffee. We walked through the coffee fields, saw the beans drying and had a coffee tasting. Nice way to spend the day.
Tim our driver was a safe driver and very informative.

The tour was very informative and they walk you through the whole coffee process from growing to harvesting to roasting so you can get an idea of how coffee gets to be coffee. You also get to taste the different types of coffee. The driver who drove me there was also very knowledgeable and pointed out different things in Nairobi and was well informed of the history, which made for an interesting drive. The coffee estate is also very beautiful, which was a plus. Overall, it was an enjoyable tour.

Alex was a great guide, super knowledgeable about everything in his country. I learned so much and saw so much in just the drive alone. I'm sure other folks are great, but I'd say ask for Alex whenever you book with Safari Tour! The coffee farm was great, a short walk around the premises with lots of education, followed by a cupping and then a cup of coffee. As a specialty coffee lover it was great to visit Fairview to not only learn where my coffee comes from but also see that workers are treated well and with respect.

I had an excellent half day tour of the Fairview Estate Coffee Farm and Factory with Mr Obed and Ms Hottensia.
Saw various coffee trees, coffee bean harvesting, different coffee grades, coffee bean processing and roasting, tasted 4 coffee grades, and bought a dark roast grade to take home.
Thank you Mr Obed and Ms Hottensia. I will visit again.

Really interesting tour, the guide was really friendly and drove us quickly to the plantation. At the plantation, you get to taste different kinds of coffee as you learn each step from the harvesting to its transformation into that popular beverage across the world!

An Essential tour for anybody who likes coffee and have half a day to spend outside the city.
The driver/guide Moses and the local guide in the farm Irin were very helpful and provided an excellent service.
Highly recommended !
My only remark is that there is a $30 fee for the farm, which is not included in the price. Although it is mentioned in the "What's Included" section, one would usually expect it to be part of the price, not in the details.
