Fantastic whale watching tour! Pick-up at a Naha hotel was very convenient. We were lucky and were able to see many different whales. We watched for an hour and then headed back. The 1 hour viewing limit from the first sighting is a great way for visitors to see the whales, but not overly disturb them. English guide was knowledgeable and funny. Would definitely recommend!

We got to see a pair of humpback whales. The guides were very knowledgeable and attentive. Would do this again! But definitely take some meds before hand its pretty choppy especially as the boat goes faster

We will give you a full refund if no whale is spotted from 1st Feb to 31st Mar. (Please note that no refund will be given if someone on board including the staff spots a whale, a dolphin or their blows.)
If no whales or dolphins are spotted on tours between Dec. 22 - Jan. 31, you will get a re-trial voucher to use on another day.
People with a history of epileptic seizure or loss of consciousness for unknown reasons, attack of hyperventilation syndrome cannot join this tour.
Pregnant or possibly pregnant cannot participate in this tour.

The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about whales. We went on a sunny day but it was windy on the boat. I appreciated the information given prior to the trip to include bringing a wind breaker and hat. The whales we got to see came to the surface about every 5-7 minutes and we were lucky to see one of them breach multiple times.

The trip was put ‘on hold’ with no confirmation even the morning of and I did not receive any replies to my messages. We decided to go and luckily the tour was running even though there was no correspondence that it would go ahead. Unfortunately didn’t see any whales, but the staff were lovely and it was a good day out at sea. I would’ve liked if they provided some information on the whales even though we didn’t see them.

The tour was absolutely amazing, best weather possible, the best part of it was Rita the tour guide, I suggest asking for her specifically, she has super understandable English, super knowledge and shes so smart ( she's a PhD marine biology student ) , also the whales watching was cool , Rita told me we were lucky as usually the whales are less playfull

I started to get concerned reading some other recent reviews but I honestly had a great experience. Communication was easy via viator. I got replies very quickly to all my questions. I got picked up from my hotel and the driver was on time. Check in was easy and quick. We were out on the water for about 2 hours. Saw whales for majority of that time. We saw them up close. I was not disappointed at all with the length of time we observed the whales or the distance we kept. I got great photos and videos. The experience definitely exceeded my expectations.

Superb experience. Boat wasn't too crowded and the crew where very patient, in the beginning we had fears of not seeing anything but eventually we got our fill of finding those majestic creatures. The boats cannot approach too close unless the whales themselves swim towards it. Overall a wonderful experience, worth travelling for.

The booking process was very easy and done quickly. For the rest, I was kept informed of the developments of the tour via emails. I also found the explanation by means of a video for parking the car very clear and well done. The tour itself was also good and it was a spacious boat. Maybe a little short on seating for so many people. It was a 2-storey boat with a roof. We certainly saw whales and I think that the animals are treated respectfully because enough distance is kept.

We were able to see a mother and her calf and then later a male whale came which was impressive. My wife and I didn't get sea sick but several other people did. I would recommend taking sea sickness medication before the trip if you think you may be susceptible to sea sickness.
