    Pass on this

    Amit_M, Mar 2026
Lots of people were puking. No sights to see, just wildly choppy open waters. We didn’t even see any whales. Boat was so loud you couldn’t even hear people.

    Response from Host, Sep 2026

Thank you for sharing your experience, and we're sorry to hear the trip didn't meet your expectations. We completely understand how frustrating it is to deal with choppy waters and seasickness, especially when combined with not getting to see whales — we know that's the main reason most guests book this excursion, and it's disappointing when ocean conditions don't cooperate. Please know that our captains do their best to read conditions and follow where wildlife has recently been spotted, but whale sightings ultimately depend on nature and can never be guaranteed, and rough seas are sometimes unavoidable depending on the day's weather. We also hear you on the noise level — we'll pass that along to our team to see whether adjustments can be made (such as providing ear protection or briefing guests in advance) so it doesn't interfere with the overall experience and communication onboard. We're sorry this particular trip fell short, and we'd welcome the chance to have you join us again on a calmer day — we'd love the opportunity to show you a better side of what we do.

    Nice boat

    Kallie_B, Mar 2026
Please do not choose this excursion if you get sea sick, motion sickness or have terrible balance. That is not the staff or companies fault and shouldn't be held responsible, however, they could have handled the situation better. People were sitting in the middle of the isle throwing up. I wish they would have given a designated area to do their business instead of literally everywhere. With that said, the crew was nice and helpful and the boat was nice.

    Response from Host, Sep 2026

Thank you so much for your honest and detailed feedback, and we're glad to hear you enjoyed the boat and found our crew nice and helpful. You're absolutely right that motion sickness can affect anyone regardless of how well an excursion is run, and we really appreciate you being so understanding about that. That said, your point about designated areas is completely fair — no guest should have to deal with that situation happening around them without a clear solution in place. We'll be discussing this with our crew to make sure there are designated spots and supplies (bags, sanitizing wipes, etc.) readily available and clearly communicated at the start of the trip, so it's handled more discreetly and comfortably for everyone on board. We'll also make sure to mention motion sickness risks more clearly before departure, so guests who are prone to it can prepare (medication, seating near fresh air, etc.) or make an informed choice. Thank you again for taking the time to share this — feedback like yours genuinely helps us improve the experience for future guests.

    It was very good...

    Tengteng_Y, Feb 2026
It was very good experience, It was a sunny day and we saw a few whales, even two together showing their tails. However I was a bit unsatisfied as I had been on a Maui trip on Hawaii and saw plenty of them, so I went on another trip a couple of days afterwards when I was in Okinawa with another tour though, the second one was a rainy+ windy day but I saw a whale did a 180 degree spin which was rare to see and be prepared as a lot of people vomitted along the way(the medicine doesn't really help with rough waves, and we almost gave up as it was very hard to see whales as the sea was very rough ) it was only on the way back we managed to see a few and it was splendid! You either don't see them at all with rough waves or the whales blow your mind !! Get ready for 180 degree rotation or jumping out of water 2/3 ! How amazing that is !! You dont get to see such view on sunny days.

    Despite the rough seas...

    Joshua_M, Feb 2026
Despite the rough seas and weather conditions, we were able to see a whole pod of whales. Well worth the trip. A fun activity for the whole family.

    Tour was very organized...

    Russell_B, Feb 2026
Tour was very organized and professional. We saw multiple whales breaching and coming to the surface. Crew knew where to find them.

Good tour, good crew, major illness.

    Amy_K, Mar 2025
As my son said, “We saw a whale but at what cost?” 2/3rds of the boat was committing in a bag because the water was so choppy today. I’m not sure it was good to have gone ahead with the tour given the water conditions. So many people were not able to even get up to view the whale due to seasickness. The crew was very nice and accommodating. However, the water was probably not okay for a tour.

    Non-stop whales for 90 minutes

Great fun - we saw whales right away...a mother and baby humpback! I could have been longer though - just 90 mins.
