Nice way to get personalized touring in a short amount of time. Our guide, Koko, arranged with us what we wanted to see and then met us right at the terminal. We enjoyed her hearing about her experiences in her hometown of Nagasaki, as well as stories about her grandparents lives there.

Tour guide spoke very broken English, hard to understand her. Although she was very sweet, she also needed to speak up as it was hard to hear her. Her visual aids were very worn and torn and looked very unprofessional.

Hiromi was a wonderful guide. Fun and very genuine. She gave us insights on the Japanese culture and arranged the schedule to fit our needs. Great Nagasaki Tour

Visiting Nagasaki was a dream come true. Our guide was Miss Yoshi. She was a great guide and very knowledgeable about Nagasaki and Japan. We visited the Dutch trading post and other early items that were used by early traders to Japan. The Nagasaki Museum was terrific and had outstanding exhibitions for all to gain a perspective of how the atomic bomb helped to end the war. It was a very solemn event for us. We had a very interesting day, visiting the Observatory overlooking Nagasaki, we travelled by public transport to visit the Peace Park, Ground Zero and Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum, finishing up at Glover Gardens then returned back to Port. We thoroughly enjoyed spending the day with Norah who made our tour very enlightening, sharing much information with us and getting us around town with ease. One of our best days in Japan. We were very happy with this tour and would encourage others to do it. Norah made it one of our best days in Japan.

Yoshi is an incredible guide with powerful and personal ties to the city. While the rest of the ship was loading onto buses we bypassed the chaos with Yoshi. She met us at the dock with a sign and a smile. My husband, our adult son, and I were quickly whisked away by taxi to see what we had previously chosen at exactly the pace we wanted. And the price was about the same as a ship excursion for 3. Great decision to see Nagasaki this way.

The best part of this tour was our guide!!! Yoshi was amazing and able to tell the story of the atomic bomb dropped on Nagasaki from the viewpoint of survivors (her father). Thanks to Noriko, we had a most memorable stay in Nagasaki Professional, organized, kind, and generous, with a wonderful sense of humor, Noriko has expanded our knowledge and understanding of Nagasaki’s historical significance and culture as well as the aftermath of WWII; she has added much depth and context to our understanding of the city, which made for an exceptional experience. Noriko went the extra mile to guide us before, during, and after the tour. Shortly after we have booked the tour, Noriko contacted us via email. Attuned to our interests, she -helped us with the choice of places to visit and planning of the time with her -recommended accommodations. -provided detailed information on transport in Japan in general and from the airport to our hotel as well as from the hotel to our meeting point in particular -informed us of the expected weather, and advised on what to bring -prepared and left a folder including informative pamphlets and brochures about places we were about to visit and other points of interests and left it for us at the hotel prior to our arrival -helped us book our travel arrangement from Nagasaki to Kyoto, once she realized that we had forgotten to do. (We otherwise made all travel arrangement prior to arriving to Japan) -suggested places to visit during the rest of our stay in Nagasaki, which we immensely enjoyed -helped with finding vegan places to dine in (which are not easy to come by) We highly recommend.

Hiromi-San was very accommodating and knowledgeable. She contacted me early on to set the itinerary and was very informative on what would appeal to the children in our group. The day before we were to meet, she alerted me to the rainy weather and offered to make the trip easier on us with taxis and prices to anticipate. She even offered to purchase us umbrellas. When we finally met, she was very efficient and had so little h history and knowledge to share. I recommend this tour! We went to Nagasaki History and Culture museum, peace park, the epicenter of the atomic bomb, and China Town. She was very flexible of where we wanted to go and what we wanted to see.

Fun Day in Nagasaki

Ms Yoshi met us at Nagasaki station and guided us to Atomic Bomb Museum , Peace Park , Hypocenter and Dejima. She explain and pointed out the highlights of the tour and brought us to eat Chompon for lunch. She made sure my granddaughters are not hungry and taught them origami . We certainly have lots of fun with her .

Tasaki Toru, the best tour guide for Nagasaki

Our guide Tasaki Toru was absolutely fantastic. His knowledge of the area and personal stories (survivor of the bombing in 1945) was truly heartfelt. Great Way to Kick Off Your Visit to Nagasaki

I highly recommend. The website was easy to use. After paying, I was hooked up directly with my guide via email. We communicated via email and LINE to coordinate the morning’s itinerary and logistics. All of that worked perfectly. My guide, Yoshiko Hattori, showed up on time at my hotel. She was very friendly, knowledgeable, and adaptable to my preferences. This is not a canned tour, but a custom designed itinerary to serve your particular interests. Yoshi was able to put together a morning that included many of the primary historical sites I was interested in visiting, and she was helpful to me in pointing the way to visit more places on my own. I wanted to do most of my tour on foot and street car, which she was able to accommodate, but if taxi is preferred, that can be arranged as well. In short, a very enjoyable morning spent with a very pleasant person who shared much about Nagasaki from a personal perspective.
