Honestly, I had no idea what to expect on this Nagasaki tour but it exceeded my expectations. First off Nagasaki is absolutely beautiful. The panoramic view from the Inasayama Overview was breathtaking. We definitely lucked out with the weather.
Our tour guide Hirome was wonderful with lots of energy. She was so incredibly organized and made sure that our tour was customized to our disires. We visited the atomic bomb museum of course, went to the Peace Park, Chinatown and the Glover Garden. She recommended a fantastic Japanese restaurant for lunch as well which we really enjoyed. Overall a great experience.

It was a wonderful experience with Hiro, he was extremely patient with our 2 little ones and with my elderly mom.
We went to all of the areas we wanted to see. They customize our trip accordingly to our interests. Hiro was awesome!!

Great tour of Nagasaki. Our guide, Coco did a very nice job. We toured the Peace Park and Atom Bomb Museum which were well done and very sobering. We also saw the Sofukuji Temple and Glover Garden. It took a full day and lots of walking but was worth the time spent.

Our tour guide, Rikako, contacted me immediately after booking this tour. She kept in constant contact, which was very reassuring. We loved spending the day with Rikako. She is a resident born in Nagasaki and offered many personal stories as well as historical ones. She is knowledgeable an answered my husband’s many questions. Thank you to our local Nagasaki born and bred tour guide, Rikako, and our driver, Mr. Sakaguchi, for the wonderful private customized tour! Despite the rare and unusual on/off snow/sleet earlier in the day (made it very unique), we learned a lot and really enjoyed our time seeing the sites we requested, from the Atomic bomb museum to visiting the Peace Park to the Oura Cathedral. We never felt rushed during the trip. We had a yummy lunch at a local Tonkatsu restaurant suggested by Rikako as well got in some shopping at the gift stores. Rikako also gave us each a nice gift at the end of our tour.
You made our experience very special. Highly recommend to those who want a more tailored tour and experience.

Our day spent with Rikako was one of the best days we have had on our trip to Japan. We visited all the sites we were interested in seeing and learned a great deal more about the historical events that took place in this city. My wife and I took a six-hour private tour of Nagasaki with Yoshi. It was an excellent tour which exceeded our expectations. Yoshi was born and raised in Nagasaki. She is very knowledgeable and speaks very good English. She was also flexible with the itinerary. We enjoyed touring with her.

Not a lot to do in Nagasaki, we got there through a cruise so we went a shore. but it is what it is and the tourist guide was excellent speaking a perfect Randi’s.

Highly recommend this tour!! It is so nice to have a customized experience. Minnie was so great to accommodate everything we wanted to see. We asked to add the Penguin Aquarium, which was so cute! Our driver was also fantastic and had great recommendations (I was not able to walk up a bunch of steps and the driver recommended an alternate temple where he could drive up most of the way and avoid the hills). We also visited China Town (great street food - get the soup dumplings!), cable car down mount Inisa, Peace Park and the Atomic Bomb museum. Museum was sad, but glad we did it.
10/10 tour. Ask for Minnie if you can, she was so kind and informative!

We traveled to Japan as 3 couples, and we had a wonderful day in Nagasaki with our guide Hiromi at the end of March. Such was her expertise that we managed to visit 8 attractions, but at no time did we feel rushed. Hiromi clearly loves her city and this came across in her enthusiasm and knowledge. The sublime Kofukaji temple and the quirky Spectacles Bridge were happy places after the horrors of the A Bomb museum and Peace Park. We even had time for lunch in a Japanese restaurant. Thank you Hiromi for making our tour so memorable.

Fumiko Yamiguchi and our driver, Mr. Mine scooped us up in the Nagasaki cruise terminal right away and we began an excellent day of exploring the beautiful city, its history, and the amazing story of the city's response to the dropping of the bomb on Nagasaki at the end of the Pacific War in WWII. Fumiko was sensitive, interesting, and a marvelous guide. We had a very full day, learned a great deal, and explored everything from the Peace Park, a museum dedicated to the life's work of the heroic doctor , Nagai Akashi, and the history of Glover Park to the views at the very top of Mt. Inasa. It is hard to imagine a better tour of Nagasaki.

The visit to the Atomic Bomb Museum was enlightening. Yoshi, our tour guide, even shared personal stories about that sad event.
Yoshi was very knowledgeable with her Atomic bombs history both what to Pearl Harbor and what happened leading to the 2 atomic bombing pf the 2 cities in Japan. We love that she open up to shared her family's history about her father was the only survivor at his company during the bombing. Overall, it was a good tour experience around Nagasaki. The only small disappointment was that the description about the tour exclusion did not say entrance fee and we paid over $700 for our group of four we expected that at least the few Yen worth of entrance fee be bought and paid for by our guide unless it's specify and listed at the exclusion section of the tour description.

Great experience! We really enjoyed our day with Yoko! She is a wonderful guide who made our wishes come true! We wholeheartedly recommend her for a day in Nagasaki! Coming off a cruise ship you have such little time to visit a port, but having Yoko made it great!
Hiromi our guide and Hineki our driver gave us the BEST tour in Nagasaki. We were able to spend extra time at the Atomic Bomb Museum, Hiromi patiently explained everything. We got to see all the important sights and more. Hineki was a great driver and suggested sights, since we had some time. I would suggest this tour over the ships tour. We'll worth the price. Can't say enough good things of this tour.

Yoshi was our guide, and we had a wonderful time exploring Nagasaki. The tour with our own driver was perfect. She explained the history of the region and of course that fateful day. She even taught our ladies the art of oregami. I would rate as an excellent tour..
Our guide helped us to obtain tickets in advance to battleship island. This was a great opportunity to take a peak into the past and the industrial revolution of Japan. The observatory and spectacle bridge was a refreshing way to see the area. Lastly our guide treated us to a gift of paper cranes made by her! She was thoughtful and considerate the entire trip.
