Yuki was absolutely fabulous. She took us to the Shiroyama School. We were the only ones there. Yuki showed us everything and we took our time. She timed it so when we went to the Atomic Bomb Museum it was less crowded. Those 2 places were extremely emotional. We toured the Peace Park then had a lovely lunch. We bonded with her so much we’re friends on Facebook!

Yuki, our guide, loves Nagasaki and showed us the highlights and exposed us to a restaurant for a very well known selections of Chinese foods, popular in Japan. She moved at a very comfortable pace so we could stop to examine local goodies and treats. She exposed us to very interesting facts about Nagasaki in a fascinating on going conversation. Offered us places we might to discover on our own. Great Nagasaki experience

We visited Nagasaki on a stop while on a cruise. It was a great experience. We hired a tour guide for a few hours to do a walking tour. It was very informative and a pleasant way to spend the day. Yuki Kato was our guide and she is delightful. She is knowledgeable about the region, city, culture etc. She remained flexible regarding our agenda and schedule. Highly recommend her.

Our guide, Yuki, was very well organized, kind, helpful, and went out of her way to tailor the tour to our priorities. We used public transportation which gave us a real sense of the city. We visited the Shiroyama National School Building, the Atomic Bomb Museum, the Nagasaki Peace Park, and the modest local Gokoku-jinja Shrine. She squeezed a lot in our 4-hour tour which we enjoyed very much.

Had an excellent tour with Yuki Kato today. What shines through here is the preparation and thoughtfulness that she puts in ahead of the trip. Essentially you can customise the trip as you like - my preference was for a mixture of both the photo opportunities (key sights) and historic/cultural aspects I can learn about. The trip as organised delivered these elements and with local knowledge of where to go and when in order to avoid the crowds that come ashore from cruises. There is flexibility on the day of the trip too which is great if you think of something last minute or if you want to take more or less time in one place or another. All in all then, an enjoyable time mixed with moments of reflection and poignancy surrounding the event itself. Thank you Yuki.

On April 3rd we visited Nagasaki. Our private guide, Yuki Kato, guided us around the city including the Shiroyama School Museum, the Nagasaki Peace Par, the A-bomb hypocenter, the Meganebashi Bridge and we had a nice walk through a couple local shopping areas. She helped us find a specialty store selling Japanese fabric. We also had a nice snack and tea at a local cafe. Yuki also brought us to some less publicized places, helping us to avoid some crowds.
We highly recommend Yuki as a guide. Her English is excellent and her planning and pre-tour communication was top notch.

The Atomic Bomb Museum and associated park were great. Loved the bridges over Nakashima River, and lunch in Chinatown. Enjoyed taking the tram.
