they were a no show no call untill 10 min after time so it was to late to gat a nother tour so wd spent the day on the ship

Disappointing lack of communication

I sent a message through Viator the day before (as I do for all the tours I take) confirming the tour and asking for clear directions to find the driver and I received no answer. My card, however, had been charged the night before indicating the tour was still on. We arrived in Mykonos and waited in the hot sun at the port for our driver to arrive. I called the number at the time the tour was supposed to start and the person on the other end informed me that the driver had been in an accident 2 days before and they informed the ship (however, we did not book through the ship, so I am unsure as to who they might have, if they did, inform). The person said they would send a refund. Although understandable the need to cancel, the lack of communication letting me know the situation, charging my card and not responding to my message, all leads me to believe that the company needs better organization to communicate.
