the tour through all the villages in the mountains, the monastery and historical areas like Demeter and the views were just phenomenal. we thoroughly enjoyed the shops, the potter, the people and the future. Our tour guide Gregory was fantastic and so kind and took very good care of us.

Viator asked us to switch the day that we booked our tour to the next day so we did. But on the day that they asked us to switch to, the temple of Demeter was closed. Which that was a main reason for us to take the tour. Then our guide said that the statue of kourlos wasn’t included in our tour. So I pulled it up on my phone to show him. Then he took us. The guide told us that the olive museum would cost extra so we decided not to do it. After we got back I looked it up again . And the olive museum was supposed to be free.
Don’t get me wrong I like to shop, but I felt that this tour was more of a shopping excursion than an informational tour! The guide did take us to different towns, but he did lead us into a lot of little shops. This tour was disappointing after experiencing other highlight tours in Greece. All of the other tours were very informative and took us to different villages but didn’t actually lead us into a bunch of shops!

We asked you to change the date, but you could inform us that the Temple of Demeter, was the main reason you booked the tour.
Moreover, the driver thought that Kouros was not included in your tour, but as he imediately commmunicated with the office, the misunderstanding was solved.
Apart from these, the driver informed you that there were two options for the olive oil museum. The first one, was to visit the old olive press, that was FREE and the second one, was the tasting option of olive oil products which is not free.
This tour includes, visiting traditional villages that have traditional shops, and it offer's you the opportunity to taste and buy local products. It is your option, it is not nessecary, that's why you didn't.

Dimitri was very friendly and knowledgeable
He gave us a great overview of the island and all the main villages.
Only think is to explain clearly if you have lunch arranged and have dietary or monetary limitations.

Vera was an amazing guide. She was friendly, very knowledgeable, gracious, and full of great tidbits about Greece. Took us from Oia to the southern part of the island and shared both current events and the history of Greece with us as we drove. She was an amazing driver. We made many stops including the lighthouse, underground caves and the red sand beach. When we told her we wanted to stop at a beach so our adult children could swim, she suggested the black sand beach where we stopped and had a delicious lunch. Highly recommend. Great tour and great guide!!!

The driver (never introduced himself so I don’t know name) and Naxos Luxury transport were nice and accommodating but this is not really a “tour” in my opinion. It is more of a ride to places, with very little information given, that you can easily get to on your own. For less than 1/10th of the price you can rent a car and drive to the same places and more - on your own schedule. The driver can not guide you into the historical places, he simply gives you a ride there. Also, the places on the proposed itinerary could be closed, read the other reviews. I feel it is false advertising as you sign up to do something but then are told you can’t the day of. Not to mention that they must be commissioned to take you to tourist traps like the pottery maker, olive oil press, and distillery in hopes that you will spend money there. Big disappointment. Do yourself a favor and rent a car, enjoy the easy and beautiful drive, seeing things in comfort from the front seat on your own schedule. You will get to see and do more for a fraction of the price.

First of all ensuring timely service is too priority for us , we apologise for the confusion with the pick up directions as your accommodation were to a place with no car access , but this issue resolved as quick as possible with the communication with our driver who took the initiative to introduce himself to you from the very first greeting with you , you have also personal communication at WhatsApp (communication application )and you referred him with his name . as a gesture of goodwill we extend your tour almost by 1h and 20m

Local guides are not allowed to participate in tours inside the archeological places as there are already certified tourist guides inside and make your experience more enjoyable and valuable , however our drivers are experienced and always they give you a small brief introduction on the way to the site about the archeological site about its history
We are sorry about the fact that some places opens in later dates ,but this is something we could not possibly control it

We also visited the olive oil press museum in kaloxilos village were you demonstrated how was the traditional way to make the olive oil

Plus you make food tasting with several type of olive oils and olives and candies
Nobody forced you to pay a single penny for souvenirs
Also our driver/ guide take you to several villages for small walks to see magnificent views
Photo stops , a lot of photo stops
All those were according to our scheduled/arranged plan
If you believe that this service doesn’t worth the value of the money it’s is your personal opinion which is totally respected but is misleading or providing false statements and this is not fair for our efforts .Renting a car service is something completely different and personal option
So no need to explain further or compare the differences between those two completely different services.

Vangelis was a great tour guide. He took us to all of the important things that you should see in Naxos and provided us with lots of great information and great photo opportunities and went out of his way to ensure that the experience was what we wanted. Highly recommend Naxos Luxury Tours which we found on Viator. The restaurant he recommended was fabulous.

2 out of the 6 attractions on the tour were not available to us. Viator is a 3rd party site that doesn't give you all of the details and we were basically told "too bad".

Good evening! This review it is not at all fair to us. Initially your problem was that the temple of Demeter, a point of interest on the island, was closed and then you had to pay in the places where there was an entrance! Both of these are recorded on our site that every Tuesday the temple is closed and that the amount of 4 euros per person must be paid for their entry into it. Α ticket was issued by viator which was exclusively for the booking confirmation. You thought that with this ticket he would have free entry to the museums. This is not mentioned anywhere. On the contrary, it is clear on our website that you have to pay extra if you want to enter the museums! You completed their tour normally and went to all the points of interest included in our tour! Therefore we consider it unfair for you to make a review.

Thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Naxos! Our ferry was delayed, so we started late and many sites were closed. We felt like we were still able to see a good chunk of Naxos and learned a lot from our amazing guide!

Vangelis went over and above all expectations! He was very knowledgable about the area and showed us a very good time. This was a special trip for my family, going back to the birthplace of their grandfather/father. With the help of Vangelis, it was the tour of a lifetime!

Great tour that really gave us a feel for the island! We saw, experienced, and tasted so many things. It was truly wonderful. A definite must do if you don’t want to rent a car and have a limited amount of time on the island. We loved our tour guide. He was friendly and knowledgeable!

Enjoyed our tour of Naxos with Vangelis, who had lived on the island all his life. Enjoyed the beautiful scenery, the small villages in the mountains and our lunch in the lovely village of Apirathos.

leider sind wir enttäuscht von dem Ausflug. Uns wurde nicht die Kouros Statur gezeigt, der Reiseleiter erzählte uns nichts über Naxos (vermutlich weil die Englisch-Kenntnisse unzureichend waren) und Wasser bekamen wir trotz Hitze und Bestandteil des Angebots leider auch keins. Neben den knapp 400 Euro für die Tour, kamen also diverse Eintrittsgelder an den unterschiedlichen Stops und Erfrischungsgetränken und Verpflegung dazu. Außerdem waren die Stops so gewählt, dass man dort auch noch die passenden Souveniers kaufen konnte. Wir hatten uns für die Tour mit einem Guide entschieden um mehr über die Insel zu erfahren und weil wir auf Milos damit sehr gute Erfahrungen gemacht haben. Diese Tour erinnerte jedoch an eine Verkaufstour.

As you may have seen from the description, the driver - guide speaks English. However, he tried to do his best to give you some interesting information for the island.
The duration of your tour was 6 hours. The reason that you hadn't enough time to visit Kouros, was that there you often asked the driver to stop and give you much time for smoking , which it is not allowed in the minivan .
Finally, the tour includes visiting local shops, that is not nessecary to buy something, it is your choice.
