Spent an amazing evening with Rahma and her family at her lovely house which has been in her family for generations. The food was so so so delicious - better than the food at our hotel (Al Buston Palace) which is high praise. The company was great - Rahma and her family are so warm and we just loved our visit. Book this and ask for Rahma!

Best thing we did in Oman

A rare and wonderful opportunity to sit down with locals and talk as if we were old friends. sharing our cultures and food, meeting the entire family and extended family...what an exceptional treat. This was the best thing we did during our ten day visit to Oman. Everyone should do this!

My fiancee was set on doing this while I was a bit skeptical only because we're not the chatty types. I am glad we did it. Start to finish this was well organized, professional, intimate and authentic. We were picked right on time by one of the co-founders and driven to the host's house. We spent 2 hours with the family and were picked back up and dropped to our hotel. The family spoke English very well, was very well educated and well traveled. We enjoyed meeting with them and conversation was easy, flowing and engaging. Learned a lot about Oman and the culture. The food was well prepared, simple and diverse (veg, meat, apps, rice, bread). We enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend it.
