The Bagel Class studio is on the 2nd floor of the Cadbury Lofts building. The Studio number is #221a and during the weekend, you will need to BUZZ #221 or The Bagel Class to enter the building. There are two sets of stairs to the studio which makes this workshop not wheelchair accessible.

This Montrel baking-making workshop experience is an intimate one you won’t soon forget. Meet in the designated meeting location in the city—your guide takes you up to their home for your class. Plus, this experience is limited to just 10 travelers for a fun, special time.
Once inside the home, your guide gets you set up at a station at the main table so you can get hands on while learning how to make delicious bagels. Some basics you walk away knowing are how to knead the bagel dough, how to use your favorite seasonings for your bagels, and what’s the difference between flour varieties.
After your bagels bake, enjoy the fruits of your labor as you taste your bagels.

I had so much at this class! I met really awesome people and the host was fantastic. He kept us engaged throughout the whole experience, and made sure we all got comfortable with each other. It is a very hands-on experience, and I appreciated learning about what makes Montreal bagels so unique. As a NYC native, it was especially great to banter about which city's bagel is the best! The bagels were warm and delicious; and it was great that we made extra to take home as well. I wanted to try a cooking class in another city, and this class exceeded my expectations. I absolutely recommend it!

Super fun and approachable class, great for all ages. We took our teenagers and our 9-year old and all were happy. Bagels were delicious.
This class was so much fun! Will is a great teacher and keeps everyone engaged with his jokes and stories. And the bagels we made were delicious!! Highly recommend.
My wife and I had a GREAT time at the class and found Will to be very friendly, informative, and engaging. I saw some reviews from years ago that reference a home kitchen, rest assured this was in a commercial space in the old Cadbury Factory building which has been refurbished into very cool loft spaces. Plenty of bathrooms, great cleaning practices with washing sink in the kitchen where we were baking.
My wife was a little apprehensive about taking our first cooking/baking class but were very happy with how it went. Totally approachable class for anyone with no experience right up to experienced baking, but wanting to learn the nuances of Montreal bagels and the differences between other bagels.
This class totally removed intimidation we had with making bagels and now we're ready to go crazy and try for ourselves at home.
Highly recommend this experience for anyone visiting Montreal! Will is extremely knowledgeable and does a wonderful job at making the class fun and engaging.
We had a great time making bagels. They were delicious. My recommendation to the host would be having coffee/juice and butter/jam/cream cheese. Even if you have to charge a little extra. I normally don't eat my bagels plain.
My husband and I had a lovely time at this class. Our instructor did a great job at taking the class through the steps while also explaining why things were done a certain way. The bagels were very tasty, too.
The entire experience was great! The host was fun and the bagels we baked were delicious!! Definitely glad we booked the class.

The owner, Will, added nice touch of humor to explaining everything in detail. This was one of the best experiences we have ever had on a Viator tour. We even bought the ingredients to make numerous batches of bagels once we get home. Highly recommend.
We came with friends, and all of us thoroughly enjoyed the class. Very good time -- and worth the money. Will was able to teach to multiple ages simultaneously and added a good deal of humor to the process. He has simplified the process so literally anyone can do it -- even with no baking experience. He had all the paraphernalia there for sale if you wanted it. The bagels were hot and delicious, and he handed out the hard-copy recipe at the end. We will definitely bake them at home for our family. Thumbs up!

What a great experience! Will is funny and engaging. He made an effort to connect with everyone in the class - 20 people! He gave great instruction and he was easy to follow. The bagels were very good and I did buy a bit of the “secret ingredient” so I can try them at home and I’d wager they’ll be even better with my SE PA water! ;) I would highly recommend this class!

The instructor/ owner is very personable and organized. He treats all participants, whether you are a baker or not, equally He keeps the atmosphere light and gladly helps those need it. Best of all, you get to keep and eat the finished product, which is very good.
