This was so much fun, equipment is part of the experience, although you need to bring an extra pair of clean sneakers, and dress warmly. We got a great overview lesson from Brandon, and then on-ice coaching from Sylvain. A lovely local club, so a very friendly atmosphere. Easy to get to on the REM train, very short walk to the club. A great way to spend 2 hours in Montreal!!

Super fun experience (even for someone like me who can't do the lunge to throw the stone - they have a modification). Also made me understand the skill and strategy involved in this sport. All the people in our group were positive and supportive. Our trainer was very good and patient with all us beginners. You can tell he was passionate about this sport and introducing it to others.

The curling experience is a lot of fun. It says it lasts 2 hours but they let us continue another 20-30 min. It’s definitely cold so come prepared. Would highly recommend.

This was a great intro to curling from people who've been doing it for years! Everyone was very friendly and explained things well. It is cold on the ice, but after moving a bit I barely noticed, so bring layers.

This intro to curling was exceptional, and with a little flexibility, a lot of fun. Even though our team couldn’t even score 1 point in our short 5 end game, we left with lots of smiles. Our instructor Brandon quickly taught us the basics and had us throwing rocks in no time!

Such a great experience. Brandon was a fantastic coach, fun, engaging, and hilarious. They get you on the ice quickly and playing right away, and anyone can do this. The bar overlooking the ice is a great bonus. Highly recommend. Just do it.

My husband, six year old child, and I had a blast learning how to curl. We had never done it before, and our instructor Nassim was very helpful, including in showing me how to accommodate my bum knees when throwing the stone. Nassim made the experience lots of fun, in addition to being informative. We would highly recommend this activity to families with kids!

You definitely need to bring a clean, dry pair of shoes like they tell you. The rinks are colder than you might think, so wear a hat and gloves. But it was a ton of fun for adults and kids alike!

This was so fun for our family of 5 (kids ages 22, 19, 15) - the instructors are patient, teach you some skills and strategies then it’s a few hours of trying to curl and laughing through the cold!

So much fun! The curling club is out a ways, but easily accessible by commuter rail or uber. Be sure to bring clean non-slushy shoes; no-slip shoe covers are provided for the ice. Not recommended for folks with knee or hip problems. We brought our 16 & 12 yo and they both had fun - though I think it’d be best to pair families with other families. Each group had 8-10 people; learn to “throw” (good balance helps a lot) and sweep; then play an inning of a game and finally do a “mini game” where you just throw a couple feet and not all the way across the ice. We’ve been watching curling on the Olympics for years so it’s great to finally try! Our instructor Fred was very encouraging and nice.

Took our family of 4 to this during our visit to Montreal and it was one of the highlights of our trip. We received some quick instructions and were on the ice curling and sweeping in no time. It's a great indoor activity and we would all do it again.

We have always been fascinated watching curling in the Olympics so when we say this activity listed we had to give it a try. Everyone at the club was so welcoming and safety focused. We learned a ton and had such a fun afternoon. I highly recommend you do this if you are in Montreal or Quebec. I hope to do it again someday.
