Experience the adrenaline-pumping excitement of a whitewater rafting adventure on this professionally guided, 2-hour excursion. Ride along the Lachine Rapids near downtown Montreal on the Saint Lawrence River. Choose from adventure rafting, where the waves get really intense, to the calmer family rafting trip along Class I-II rapids. The guides were friendly, informative and lots of fun! I was surprised how big the waves were and although a bit nervous, we were well prepped and totally safe!

What a fun day white water rafting! I haven’t been in years, and it was definitely a workout—but so much fun. At one point I think I swallowed most of the river, but I survived, lol. Our guide Nick was amazing, and we had a great group of fellow rafters from New York, New Jersey, and South Carolina who made the experience even better!

This was great fun! The rapids were bigger than 1-2 for the family run, just a heads up on that. :) We appreciated our tour guide’s expertise!

Definitely put Rafting Montreal on your bucket list if you're visiting Montreal. The Adventurous Rafting experience was incredibly fun. Even as a non-swimmer, I felt incredibly safe. The team and guide go through a whole safety training before you get onto the rapids. Shout out to Marianne who served as our amazing guide?

Must try. Would try to do again next year . Have been living at the same street as rafting since 30 years never dared to do it. This year I decided to do it before I get too old. It was really a thrilling experience. The guides are very professional and safety minded. Don’t leave nothing to chance.

Ralph and crew were awesome. Good for a quick thrill. Plan on getting wet. Bring crocs or water shoes and not flip flops.

This was an exhilarating experience for the family on the tour. I had a 14., 12 and 10 year old with me and all of them are hard to please. All of them absolutely loved the experience. The guides were great and this was a memory that the family won’t forget!

Very fun experience on the river. Guides were very friendly but also extremely professional and safety focused. Would recommend to anyone wanting to get out of the city and experience the beauty of the St. Lawrence.

The place is very clean, the personal very kind and experienced. We as a family had a great time, I would like to had more time in the rapids, but I guess is because of the security of the kids.

Thank you for your message, Karen! The Lachine Rapids are quite intense, which can make the experience feel rushed during the hour and a half. The route we take is the safest option, as some rapids are too dangerous even for the most experienced rafters. Great, unexpectedly large rapids! Staff was super fun! We didn’t know what to expect rafting down such a large river, but it was really fun!

the safety was much more intimidating than the actual rafting but I understand that they don't know the rafters and have to prepare for the worst case scenarios

We understand your comment for the sunblock, but please know that unfortunately, the prices are fixed by Sunbum and not by us... You did paid 23$CAN plus taxes for the product. Sunbum is a high quality sunscreen made for water that we keep in stock to accommodate customers that might have forgotten theirs.
As per the safety briefing, we know it can be a little scary, but as you mention, we have to make sure everyone knows what to do in case of an emergency situation on the water!

Loads of fun, you are going to get wet.
Riding the rapids down the St Lawrence along upper Montreal; who’d a thunk it?
Great guides putting the boats in just the right places to maximize the ride.
Granted, YOU ARE GOING TO PADDLE, to accomplish this.
Sore muscles the next day are worth it.
Highly recommended.

We got the full whitewater rafting experience - our group's raft did the famous "dump truck" and we all ended up in the water! Our guides were fantastic about keeping everyone calm and we were all safe. Nerve wracking for sure, but we definitely got an unexpected experience and some great family memories :)
