Although not their fault, we were unable to do the horseback ride due to storms. The staff were friendly, however our ride back to the resort was very dangerous. The driver stopped to pee on a house’s gate. He passed when it was unsafe and nearly hit other cars and pedestrians.

Everything you read tells you the start time. Which for us was 2pm. It was minutes down the road so we went to the front of the hotel at 145-150 to meet the ride. Never showed. So when we went back to the room, I had to fight the WiFi to find a message saying 130 was meeting time. Well, I didn’t get the message because I don’t have service internationally and the hotel WiFi doesn’t work well. Then they denied my refund. Absolutely a waste of money.

My tour guide was great! My horse was Mr T I can't remember the guides name but we loved him. The issue for me was that this was not a 45 min tour. We went down a path (ONE) and to a small ocean area where the water was mucky and that's being nice. We were led to the water and photos were taken, then we just sat there in the water. So, the description is very much misleading. We went to a dirty ocean area and sat there for photos then back up the path and we were done. It took 20 min at best! As stated the horse and the guide were great, I just expected more of an "experience" like riding down the beach, etc.
Then as far as transportation goes smh..... we only booked 1 tour so we were expected to sit & wait for all the other ppl to get finished with multiple tours. This is NOT clear in the description. We were ready to leave and told we would have to wait another hour. Problem is we had already been waiting over an hour. I asked if they could call us a cab I would pay no problem I was told no. We were not happy! Spoke with another guy about 15 min later he did have the bus take us back. However, if we had not been as vocal I truly believe we would have been sitting there till all the others were done. The sign said the bus left at 230 and we asked at 225 to go back. So we were following their rules.

This was a wonderful trip however it was a little far from the resort. I felt we spent about two hours in travel and not enough time on the horses. However, everyone was very sweet and helpful.

Well, they say 1 hour and 30 minutes trip but it took 8 hours to go , make the horse riding and come back to the resort . I think they should be more clear about time. I lost another ticket that I booked . Also it’s not 45 mits , it was only 20 mits. I don’t recommend this for anyone

Riding a horse into the sea was an interesting experience and was as advertised.
What was not clear if you are picked up at a hotel in the Montego Bay Area was the approx. 2 hour drive to the JamWest facility from Montego Bay. The drive through the Jamaican countryside was interesting but it would have better if this was stated up front.
Also, if your bus had folks doing more than one activity at JamWest, you had to wait (for us about 3 hours) for the others to finish all their activities. Again, it would have been nice to have known this up front.

Unfortunately I booked this trip at 2 PM and they tried to pick me up at 11 AM. My flight arrived at 10:30 AM. I couldn't make it. I thought the pick up time was one hour before. I called the tour agent and requested a refund or credit. They offered me another date but I had other plans. I didn't get a refund. Call Vialtor and they said it may not be possible for a refund. I need to cancel 24 hour prior...I was upset because it was my birthday. Then a saw this tour bus and I asked where are you heading? They said Sandy Beach. Can I go on this tour? He said hop in. This guy saved my day...I went on horse riding and had fun. Chukka tours. They also sell here.in vialtor. So at the.end of the day it's nobody's fault but your own bad luck. If you book this tour make sure you're ready to go 3 hours before the time. Au Revoir!

Website said would pick me up at my hotel, provider said it would not. Viator said my hotel was not on drop down. I sent them a screen shot with the hotel on it. They have not. It told me if they will refund for their mistake. Terrible experience with them

The staff that walked with us during the excursion were great. I was disappointed by the lack of organization with those arranging the different tours. No proper instruction on wait time, excursion time, driver return status, etc.

We didnt even get to do this excursion! They came 6 hours before the 45 minute excursion to come pick us up and we were doing another excursion at the time and they arent trying to issue a refund

It was a 2 hour ride to our destination. Driver was nice and made a restroom stop in between. Don’t buy this if your just doing one thing. What they don’t tell you is that you have to wait for everyone to finish their excursions before you can go home. We left our resort at 10:30am and got back at 9:30pm for one excursion. We rode the horse for 20 minutes not 45 minutes.

The tour bus didn’t show up, and didn’t even bother to call or text us and tell us anything… we spent $60 us to and from the pick up location to be told they are no drivers to collect us. So unprofessional.. still waiting on our refund

The horseback riding trail did not last 45 minutes. We went into the ocean but I expected to run along the coast and that is not the case they just take you out and swim with the horse. My guide was nice but my horse had weird ears and looked nervous the whole time and kept trying to bite the guy which made me feel very unsafe. The rest of the adventure park looks great the mineral pool was great, and so was it bird cage. The worst part about it all was a bartender Michael. He harassed me until I downloaded WhatsApp and gave him my contact. Multiple other workers saw this did not stop him. He has been calling me almost nonstop morning and night trying to contact me. I will never recommend anybody here because of this. Tourist do not want to be hit on and the staff should be aware of what their coworkers are doing and stop them.

The lady who I spoke with was very unprofessional I called emailed. The group was waiting downstairs at the Lady Hamilton it's no way we forfeited 700. And we booked other excursion thru Viator.

There were none I did not get anything close to what I paid for I will never do that again. We were immediately taken to the water so they guess they could cook the horses off and then taken in a eight minute ride around the corner and it was over. I timed it a total of 15 min and was suppose to be 90 min. They should be ashamed of themselves.

It was really a 20 min ride. Not a mile and a half or 1 1/2 hour ride. Waste of time and money. Really wasted a day for a 20 min ride. I want my money back

The good: The facility was nice. My personal guide, Yasafari was very friendly and he was a good guide. The horses were well taken care of (although I did notice 1 skinnier one), and the tour was well-structured and organized. Our helmets were nicely fitted to us and they matched the horses size to our body weight so that each person and horse was comfortable and safe. The water part of the tour lasted about 10 mins which is a lot longer than any other horseback tour I've been on.The not so good: They say it's 90 minutes but you are only on the horses about 40 mins. At the front desk they say you can't have your phones or anything to carry on you, but on the tour it didn't seem to matter, I was able to take my camera along and use it. The walk on the horses to the water is about 15 mins and a guide holds the reigns the whole time which is nice for beginners but does take away from the experience if you really want to feel like you're horseback riding. Each person is assigned their own guide. The walk along a dirt road is in a single file line. The road is also traveled with vehicles, so that was distracting and took away from the experience. Another thing that was distracting and took away from the experience is that the guides are instructed to ask us riddles during the water part and also they want us to tell them jokes and riddles.... I'm pretty sure they are all told to do this so we don't get bored and to keep us entertained.... I can assure you that being on a horse in Jamaica on a beautiful beach is entertainment enough. I just wanted to enjoy riding through the water on my horse, not have to come up with jokes or try and figure out a complicated riddle. Again, my guide did a great job on his riddles to me but I did not really want to take part in it. Pics are really expensive if you want them. It's $250 (yes, you read that right) if you want a CD of all the pics taken. Or, it's $10 per picture and you can have that printed or on a CD and emailed to you as well. All in all, I would not recommend this tour unless you are with children. Also, 90 mins is not what you get and what you do get really isn't worth it.

Had a great time horseback riding. The guide of my horse was wonderful you could tell he really cared about my horse Princess. Princess loved being in the ocean. All people on the tour were great! My driver who picked me up at my resort and brought me back was awesome. Even on the way back during a bad thunder and lightening storm it took forever to get back he was great driving through it. Thanks to all who made it great for me.
