We didn’t even go on the trip as the driver didn’t show up and nor were we told that it had been cancelled until I contacted the company

Both of these tours were awesome. The horseback was a great experience I never thought I would experienced. The horse in water was really cool. The two guys who did the tour were wonderful. The bamboo tour was exciting. Joe was our guide and it was his first day doing his job. He did a great job and he gives great message. Please take these two tours it’s worth the money!

Owner of the horse was very accommodating. She made us feel extremely welcome. She even allowed me to love on her fur babies. Alex who put provided transportation to and from the location was great as well. I would definitely revisit this place again.

Horrible experience and a borderline scam

This experience teeters on the edge of being a complete scam. The good parts: The experience contains exactly what was advertised: a private tour with pickup and drop off for horse riding and Martha brae river rafting. The Martha Brae river tour was actually amazing and very enjoyable. The bad and ugly: The driver showed up 2 hours late for pickup which basically killed our evening plans. The horse ride was a total sham. We were driven to a garbage infested construction site near a spot of makeshift beach. From there we hopped on to 2 nice horses. Again this was a private tour! Once we were on the horses we rode them through dirt, debris , construction sites and various other garbage disposal spots. This lasted for 20 mins. After that we went in the makeshift beach/ocean which was equally terrible and were rushed out after one a round. There was no Bracco stables as advertised or any evidence that this was a legit place for tourists to experience the horses while enjoying Jamaicas nice beaches. My biggest worry while on the horses was “where the hell am I and will I make it back” . I would highly recommend anyone looking at this to avoid this execursion. On the off chance that you do end up taking this excursion, make sure you pray well and sincerely before embarking!

Switch and Bait - No Private Horseback Ride

Bait and switch: No private horseback ride. The title of the tour was “ private horse back ride and Bamboo rafting”. The horseback ride was with 10 other people. When I stated I paid $520 dollars for a private ride for 2 people the Tour representative that was on site stated that the title of the horseback ride was indeed the title of the excursion, but it really meant we had private transportation to the locations. When I said that made no sense and seemed unlawful and unethical, he threatened to cancel my entire excursion. I showed him my ticket that read “ private horseback ride and bamboo ride”. The owner of the horse farm had no part in the sketchy activity and apologized. They would have scheduled a private ride if the tour company had informed them and paid for the additional cost. Additionally we had scheduled a 10 am start/pickup time at our hotel which was also clearly stated on our ticket. The tour operator sent an email late at night before the horseback ride that the pick up time was to rescheduled to 8:30am. It was by pure coincidence, at 1am I looked at email since I was on vacation. I sent a reply that I would not be able to make a 8:30am start time. The morning of the excision I contacted Viator and they asked if I could be ready by 9am. Or they would have to cancel or reschedule. After some terse back and forth we hurried up for 9 am pick up. Honestly, the Tour operator was rude and unprofessional throughout the entire process. Avoid these slick and unprofessional Tour Operators. Individuals spend a lot of money and time on their vacation experiences. This Tour Operator was the worse that I have ever interacted with and I travel Internationally at least 6x per year.

Alex was a great tour guide, and took his time explaining every view enroute to our excursion, he even stopped us by a local eatery to enjoy some fresh authentic jerked chicken with rice and peas. The rafting adventure was calm, but yet so breathe taking, and horseback ride was really exciting the horses was well trained and made the experience so easy to enjoy. I would give this 10 stars and recommend over and over again to all visitors...
