Wanted picking up from cruise terminal, messaged 3 times to ask for this zero replies. Called before we left said not possible so had to take a cab into town. Arrived same time as an entire cruise ship so waited for ever for ride. Boat captain started trying to sell us all sorts as we passed first bend then after I gave him 20 dollars tip said is that it! 😂 couldn’t wait to leave Jamaica everyone was out to fleece whatever they could get!

Perfect morning spent on the beautiful unmatched Martha Brae River. Worth every penny and luckily a fellow holiday maker told us we must do it whilst in Jamaica. Excellent experience with this tour operator from start to finish. Great comms, bang on time, luxury vehicle for just myself and my partner and a special shout out to our driver Hassani, extremely friendly, professional and shared his local knowledge. 10/10!

Last minute cancellation

Plan this excursions for my husband birthday. They cancel last minute after they charged my card. Could have accommodated me some how. End up booking with another company that was less expensive and we had a great time. However they did cancel my excursion on Viator so I will be looking for my refund.

Beautiful location. Company transfer was super punctual. Really polite. Nice guy. Unfortunately it rained whilst we did it. Our raft captain was super miserable and 3 miles down the river gets super boring. Still enjoyed it but a little too laid back for me. And for what it is far too expensive.

It was a relaxing and fun experience. Mike, our private transfer driver, was on time and provided a safe and enjoyable ride to and from the Martha Brae. He even made time for a quick stop at his favorite local restaurant on the way back so we could pick up lunch to go. The rafting tour itself was fun and we learned a little Potswa from our guide!

Rafting down the river was so calm and peaceful. The total distance covered was 3 miles. The scenery was beautiful. Saw some wildlife. Learned about the history of the river and some of the abandoned buildings along the bank. The most memorable part was when Captain Clive invited my 14 year daughter to paddle the raft. It was an adventure. Harder than it appears, the bamboo stick was very heavy. The water was cool and surprisingly clear. Captain invited us to sit along the edge and dip our feet into the water. Definitely recommend this. To be honest, I didn't think I would enjoy it It turned out to be the highlight of our trip!

Relaxing River Ride At Your Own Pace

We really enjoyed our 2.75 hour trip from MoBay including the hour-long rafting experience down the Martha Brae River. Raheem picked us up early and called us when he arrived at our hotel. It was private, just me and my spouse in the van, as promised, and we went directly there and back at our own pace--no waiting for others or having them wait for us. We had a pleasant conversation with our driver, Raheem, who told us what to expect. When we first arrived at the river, we entered an area with the ticket booth, a bar, bathrooms, and small shops. We had a free fruit punch (rum costs extra) while Raheem bought our rafting tickets. We then went back to the van so I could change into my swim wear, as I planned to go into the water. I felt perfectly safe leaving my valuables in the van. We then went to the rafting area where all the raft captains were waiting. We were assigned to Captain John's raft. Once we were on board, Captain John steered the raft while we sat back and enjoyed the ride, while asking him a lot of questions. The river started quite shallow, but got deeper as we went along. We saw a variety or trees, fruits, flowers and butterflies as we went along. There were occasional venders on shore, but never were we pressured to buy anything. John stopped to pick some Jamaican apples for us. They were delicious. We also asked him to stop to get fresh coconut water for USD $5/7000 Jamaican dollars.. Some locals were bathing in the river as we passed. Later John helped me into the 3 foot deep water cautiously due to my knee surgery 7 months ago. It was a refreshing relief from the May 90 degree heat. My spouse chose to stay high and dry on the raft wearing the life jacket. John told us that there are 97 captains, each whom built their own rafts. Some own three or more. At the end of our journey, Raheem met us with the van and he provided us with useful information about travel, shopping, and touring in Jamaica on our way back to the hotel. We were back before we knew it. I had been concerned about whether this experience would be appropriate for someone of my age (upper 60s) not in the best physical condition, and it was perfect!
