Great value day tour to Werribee Zoo and historic Werribee House

Great value way to see the Zoo and Werribee House from Melbourne. Both places are close together so easy to visit both. Werribee House is very impressive and has featured in Aussie movies. Beautiful surrounds. The Zoo also is very worthwhile to see animals in natural settings. Dave, our driver and guide was informative and friendly. Small group tour. Highly recommended

Werribee mansion and zoo

I had a wonderful day trip with Rick, the tour guide. Werribee mansion is a well presented example of a time gone by. Plenty of time to see the mansion and to have a bite to eat or a coffee at the Cafe. Then on to the Werribee zoo. A great afternoon on your own to experience the zoo. Don't go in the school holidays as the line to get on the open air train/bus was very long but saying that the line was moving. Take a hat and sunscreen on hot days. And water. Plenty of places to get lunch or bring your own picnic. Overall I enjoyed this tour.

Werribee Mansion & Zoo

Rick has a good deal of knowledge about the origin of Melbourne, and the Werribee mansion and surrounds. First time through the mansion and knowing the history provided an enhanced experience. We enjoyed the zoo as well but the rhinos were conspicuous by there absence.

Unfortunately the operator cancelled as there were not enough numbers. I was offered an alternative date but I already had other plans for that date. Took myself to the two locations as it was an easy trip by public transport so I was actually better catered for I think.
