Paul was AMAZING! Very knowledgeable about all things Provence (and beyond) and very accommodating, solving all of our logistical issues to make for a great trip! Some good and some bad. The good was seeing the lavender fields, although going to 3 different locations perhaps wasn't necessary. The bad was we didn't get told the pick up from Marseille was just that, a pick up by a taxi driver and then getting dumped off at Aix au Provence without any explanation of why or what was happening until we got there. Then the guide who didn't even introduce himself forgot a couple left behind so we had to go back and get them. The tour is advertised as a 'sunset tour' yet out of the 7 hour tour we spent no more than 10 minutes and the guide didin't give me enough time to take photo once the sun had set, it was hurry up as we have to get back to Marseille and drop off people we had picked up earlier. We arrived at Valensole and were told we had 45 minutes to site see through the town and have dinner. The 2 restaurants couldn't take us for dinner as they were full, so we ended up not having enough time for dinner. Disappointing

Experience was just wonderful, we visited 4 different Lavender fields and the best part was the sunset … We were given enough time at each of the field to enjoy the scenic beauty of the fields & take pictures . The Tour Guide also communicated clearly & effectively ..

Buyer be ware, use a private car or tour guide! The guide was late for departure and the van used DOES not have functional air-conditioning. I would.like a refund.

Hello Tamala, we are not aware of any van with dysfunctional air/conditioning. Neither clients nor driver/guides reported any problems. If a van had to have air/conditioning not working, we would simply stop immediately doing tours with it and bring it to the mechanic to fix. Was the air conditioning not cold enough? That would be a sign of not enough gas in the system for example. Did you ask your driver/guide about it? What was his answer? We are going to check with driver/guides if any has experiencing problems. Air/conditioning as anything else in a car can brake, so far we are not aware of such a problem but we are going to check this out. Kind regards,

Visiting the lavender farms is a must do while in the south of France! This tour provided reliable transportation to and from a central pickup and drop off point in Marseille with a small group of 12 in a comfortablely sized van. The tour stopped at 3 lavender farms and one with unique yellow flowers for ample opportunities to take lots of pictures at different points of the day and different backgrounds. The tour guide knew which farms would have the best blooms to stop at. Going in the evening was a great option to still have the day for sightseeing and to go as it started to cool off with the best natural lighting occurred as the sun began to set. The tour also stopped at an olive farm with a store to buy souvenirs and taste lavender ice cream (recommend) and in Valensole the town to do a little shopping and get a bite to eat before returning to Marseille. Experiencing the lavender farms was even better than I expected. Not only does it provide great photo opportunities, but it's a unique experience to be in beautiful, natural landscape with the calming scent of lavender was really memorable.

It was excellent experience from start till end. The guide was very friendly and professional. Well aware of the area and key points. Multiple stop overs on the way for taking pictures. Managed to see sun flower fields as well.
The best part was the sunset at Lavender field. We were there at the right time in beautiful field and excellent light conditions. It was just awesome !!! Highly recommend Bonjour Provence team.
