Not worth it- delayed incoming flight left us one hour to use the city card. We got to go on one nice boat tour. The tourism office was hard to find. They could not actually secure us a ticket for the boat. We had to race down to kiosk and they charged us for the tickets. All activities close at 5pm or 6pm. Disappointed that we purchased this. Not worth it. Pickpocket interaction on the way to Lyon city center was not cool. Had to call and deal with bank cards afterwards. This segment of our trip was the least satisfactory of our 2 weeks in Europe. Watch u-tube videos on how to prepare yourselves for “pickpockets at train stations”. Only buy this city card if you are arriving early in day.

The card gave us access to many different venues, our favorite being the Basilica of Notre Dame of Fourvière. The pass included all city transportation and funicular to the Basilica. The boat river cruise was also wonderful. Lots of museums visited and helpful staff at the tourism office.

The walking tour with the experienced guide (Christian) was the best part of my stay in Lyon. I’m grateful that Viator had this package because there’s so much to see and I didn’t know where to start. Viator always has great ideas. The bus passes and public transit map allowed us to visit so many sights. One thing to note, this can be bought directly from the Office of Tourism near Bellecourt. I don’t know if purchasing through here is any cheaper.

This was quite nifty - made it easy to ride the public transport including the funicular up to the Roman ruins. Also got us in to places we had planned to visit like the Roman ruins museum and the Fine arts gallery. Folks at the tourist office swapped the voucher for the card without any hassles.

I hesitated with buying this but am now so glad that I did! Excellent value for money. Within 48hrs, I visited 4 museums, 2 attractions, 1 80min river boat cruise with commentary and saved lots of time catching the metro/tram everywhere. I got my moneys worth in the first 12hrs of use! Highly recommend, easy to use. Buy it now, you wont regret it!

MiniWorld was amazing. Every boys dream..no matter what age he is!!! The Centre d'Histoire was a detailed story of a terrible war and its consequences. We should always remember the heroes and the victims.

Tour guides are very helpful and knowledgeable. Public transport is good and reliable.
Only main issues is that the larger museums don't have English language brochures available, but smaller museums have excellent ones.

We found the 3 day Lyon card a cost effective and easy way to travel around the city. Scanning the card on Public transport was easy and time saving. Museums too. And it included a boat trip and walking tour. Excellent value for money

I am a great believer in getting the City Card for cities we go to for the first time. First, you get the transportation card included. In Lyon, we used mostly the Metro which gets you anywhere fast! Second, you get a City Bus Tour Hop-on-Hop-off type which takes you everywhere in the city and you get a flavor for the various sections and what you might like or dislike about them. We also got the 2 hour guided tour of the Old Town which was probably our favorite tour of the whole 3 weeks we spent in France Nice and Paris were our other destinations. We got free entrance to many fascinating museums and even to a puppet show and museum. It's great how the puppets started in dentistry. This card is perfect for the first time visitor to Lyon.

I was very sad that this card did not include the on/off bus. It was very confusing because we bought this specifically because of the on/off bus. Imagine our surprise when they told us at the bus that the card did not have this feature.

The Lyon City card is the best deal for your money. City transportation, museums, boat rides, and just plain convenience makes this expense easy to justify. I recommend this card because Lyon does have hills, and sooo many places you will want to visit. This was the first item I purchased before my visit and I would do it again. Cheers!

The City Card was a very useful way to get access to trams , boat trips on the Saone and museums, all for one payment Fine Art Museum very much worth a visit. The Musee des Confluences is an amazing building very impressive with unusual themed exhibits

Good value and a great way to get to appreciate this wonderful city. Lyon is a great place to spend several days visiting. The city has it all. Great food and wine, museums, transportation system and best of all the friendly people of Lyon. We used the public transit system which is very efficient and visited a number of sights including the Musée des Confluences interesting museum to visit for half a day or more. The museum has a great restaurant located just outside the main building and the Musée des Beaux Arts de Lyon, which also has a wonderful collection and a lovely outdoor restaurant. Great place to stop and re-energize after a few hours of visiting the museum.

Just two activities a day and the card paid for itself. I got in 3 activities one day, 2 the second, plus used it for public transport! It was very easy to use and accepted at all of the locations I visited without any problems. I highly recommend!

Be aware that this card is valid from the morning of the day stated. Not from the time that it is activated. As we had a difficult time finding the tourist bureau, we didn't get the value from it that we would have wished.

This was well worth the money and great way to take in Lyon in one day. We picked up our card at the Lyon tourism office, and it was one of the most well-organized and beautiful office we have ever been in. The people there were very helpful and gave us lots of tips for how to take full advantage of the card. We took advantage of the hop on/hop off bus tour and we visited 2 museums. We also took advantage of the extremely well organized and easy to use public transportation system to save some walking time. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Lyon.
