Wonderful Night Watchman’s Tour

My family (adults and teenagers) absolutely loved this tour. We could have listened to Ralph and his fascinating stories for even longer. He was fabulous. Lucerne was beautiful at night and the history is so rich. Do not miss this!

What a wonderful tour with Mr. Rolf. He takes effort and enthusiastically narrates fascinating tales of medieval Lucerne dressed as a medical nightwatchman with a few props and a projector too. Thoroughly enjoyed the tour and would highly recommend it for anyone interested in a cultural treat!

Such a fabulous tour! My husband and I did the walking tour and we loved it! Our tour guide was so much fun. He was in costume and did a fabulous presentation with a few props and really got into character! It was really fun walking around the city at night. He pointed out things that we never would have seen on our own. He knew the history and he was very passionate about sharing information about his city! We would highly recommend!

Rolf was amazing. It was a drizzly evening but it didn't detract from his ability to take us back in time. He pointed out the historic buildings and explained the significance of murals, unique characteristics of buildings, historical details, putting details into perspective. Earlier in the day we had rambled through the Old Town but we had missed so many details. He used a projector to highlight aspects of history and art.. He also gave suggestions of some non tourist places to eat that would be less expensive. Great tour.

This was a great tour! Rolf was awesome- it is evident he truly loves his country and Lucerne. He provided humorous details as well as recommendations for other things to see,,, the night walk added a perfect amount of mystery to the tour...another must do especially for history buffs!!!
