Walk through the shopping arcade from Kurashiki Station to its end. You'll see the stone steps to Achi Shrine. A public restroom is on the right side of the shrine steps. Take the stairs to the left of the restroom (not the shrine steps). Our traditional Japanese townhouse (kominka) is at the top.

This was really a unique experience while in Kurashiki! We learned so much about sake and has two guides with us which was a nice surprise. They had the afternoon planned out and we got to visit a local sake maker and taste his best sake's! Highly recommend this experience!
