    Itinerary

Your tour starts at a time suitable for you between 9:30am and 5:30pm. Confirm this with the local supplier after you book. On the day, you’ll meet your guide in Kurashiki Old Town to start your tour by rickshaw.

Where you go and what you see is up to you. The rickshaws are driven by your guide, and you can arrange the finish point on the day. Read on to discover sample routes, based on the duration you book.

    30-Minute Ride:

From Kurashiki Monogatarikan, travel through Kurashiki Old Town. Sit back as your guide pedals you away from the city traffic, along a wide canal path lined with weeping willow trees. The backstreets nearby are home to many Kurashiki-style shops and warehouses, so have your camera ready as you pass by.

    45-Minute Ride:

After visiting Kurashiki Old Town and the willow-lined canal path, continue past some of the mansions that once belonged to the town’s wealthy merchants. You’ll also see more small shops that are typical of the local area.

    1-Hour Ride:

Follow the itinerary described for the 30-minute tour, but spend more time exploring the enchanting Old Town streets.

    2-Hour Ride:

Meet your guide by the historic merchants’ mansions near Kurashiki Old Town, and travel through the quarter’s streets to see Kurashiki-style warehouses and tiny shops. From there, you’ll ride to Mt. Tsurugata, then back past the city’s old cotton mill. Finish with a jaunt along the pretty canal, lined with willows.
