Shasha exhibited extensive familiarity with the surroundings, ensuring that we enjoyed the best possible experience and created cherished memories.

Bad guide unwilling to tell us much, or get out of the car ruined a nicely planned trip.

The trip was nothing more than a taxi service. The guide - if I can call him that - got out of the car only once - to talk to other drivers. He said it was too hot for him. We had to ask him numerous questions since he wouldn't really say anything by himself. It's a shame since he had good English and seemed to be knowledgeable. Our trip was pretty much just driving around, and him pointing fingers, saying go there. We had to ask what was there and what to see because he wouldn't say on his own. Also, the driver would tell us (when pushed) about nice places, but each time he would say, "there are a lot of Muslims there", or "there are not many Muslims there" - When asked about that he said he didn't want to go in to politics. It was a major disappointment, especially since the trip seemed nicely planned.

A good introduction but room for improvement

Overall, my grandson and I enjoyed the tour which was a reasonably good introduction to the city and its culture. But we felt it could have been much better. Our driver was friendly and polite but he spent a lot of time on his phone and did not seem to know a great deal about any of the places we visited nor gave much background information. He clearly needs more training to improve the experience. It was strange also that we were driven a long way to the north (past the Batu Caves we noticed) to a shop where the process of hand made Batik designs on silk was demonstrated; we were then shown around their shop in the hope that we would buy something. Interesting and fun in its way but it took up about an hour of the trip reducing time available to visit the main attractions. Also, sadly the National Mosque was closed to non Muslim visitors at the time we arrived; we are pretty sure this could have been avoided as prayer times are regular and known.

Below satisfactory tour! Not value for money :(

Destinations visited were good but wish our driver would accompany us explaining a bit about each place visited. Having a private tour that was expected. Instead we were dropped off at each destination and we had to look around and learn about places by ourselves. Driver gave brief information but did not accompany us at all. Had it been a group tour, I’m sure we would have been guided better! So, why spend more and get less!! We could have used a taxi and still experienced exactly the same!! Would not recommend this tour

The tour was tailored to the fact that my mother has some mobility issues, so we greatly appreciated the personalised effort in tailoring the tour for us. I was able to step out and see some things and enjoyed the Chinese temple in particular. I really enjoyed our guide Mr Rajan's history and background information on KL and Malaysia – that was excellent and well rounded. My only disappointment is that the landmarks themselves – though impressive in terms of architecture in some cases – didn't feel all that particularly unique for a city. Perhaps if we had actually gone inside the bird sanctuary or the butterfly one, it would have helped make it feel more interactive. We are glad we got an overview of the city though.

Nice but expensive

Private car driver for a 3.5 hours run by the must see in KL. Not a guide but leaving/picking up to the places. Driver arrived 15 late but then was polite and professional. Nice but 25USD per pax is too much for such service
