Itinerary

Your full-day trip to the Genting Highlands from Kuala Lumpur begins with a handy hotel pickup so you don’t need to navigate public transport. Escape the busy city and head to the cooler climate of the highlands in an air-conditioned car without having to book bus tickets.

On arrival at the foot of the highlands, ride the scenic Skyway cable car up to the resort. Explore the theme parks, shops, restaurants, and impressive lookout points independently without having to keep up with a guide or a group. Choose the activities that suit your interests and needs and avoid those that don’t.

At the end of the day, return to your driver on the cable car for the drive to Kuala Lumpur, where you’ll be dropped back at your hotel in time for dinner in the city.

We had a very enjoyable day trip to Genting Highlands, and everything was smooth and well organized from start to finish. Our driver, Mr. Kumar, was punctual, friendly, and drove very safely throughout the journey. The highlight of the tour was definitely the scenic cable car ride on the Awana SkyWay, which offered beautiful views of the rainforest and mountains. It was a great experience and something we would highly recommend. Mr. Kumar made the trip comfortable and stress-free, making sure we had clear instructions and enough time to enjoy the different stops during the day. We appreciated his professionalism and kindness. Overall, this was a fantastic way to visit Genting Highlands and escape the city for a day. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Kuala Lumpur.

A ride to remember for ever. I am amazed at how efficient this acitivity is, we stood in a small line that moved so fast to the cable car, went half way up and got out to go see the Chinese temple, escalators everywhere in the middle of nowhere on a mountain so high up, u got to see it to beleive it, and the temple is magnificent, do not miss this highlight of Maylasia, then back up to the cart to the theme park, u go right into the clouds, it's like a dream, u believable that you can be so high up, and up there is theme parks, shops and food, coming down is quite an adventure, because u so high up and it goes fast but amazing, come down and it's retail shops all branded with discount prices. Amazing experience

It was great to get out of the city for the day but unfortunately, unless you crave gambling at the casino, the Genting Highlands trip had little to offer. Unlike the Sun World Ba Na Hills complex, west of Da Nang in Vietnam where you can walk around outside and enjoy the fresh mountain air, almost everything at the Genting Highlands complex s contained within the building or within cement walls plus the place is full of brand name fashion stores!

Glorified taxi service

This trip was basically a glorified taxi service. We probably would have been better off organising transport to the cable car ourselves as we would have saved money and been able to dictate how much time we had at Genting Highlands. The driver was nice and knowledgeable but did try to take us to the Batu Caves For 40 minutes because one or the couples on the bus hadn’t been yet. Everyone else had done it so it would have been silly to take us back and eat into the time we had at Genting Highlands. He then took us to a fabric shop where some people showed us how they did the fabrics and tried to sell us things, which we could have done without too. Genting Highlands itself is great and definitely worth a visit. There’s lots to do. We had around 3.5 hours here and it would have been nice to stay a bit longer given how much there is to do there.

v disappointing adv .

The experience up there was ok ish I enjoyed the temple where I spent most of my time the gondola up down etc was good BUT the booking was TeRRIBLE. When I booked I asked on chat, What did it include ? elephantreserve, bee place etc I was told yes so it seemed worth while to go on gondola etc I have been on many gondolas before ! 2 days before I tried to persuade my son to come with me and NOW I found out none of this happened ! So son didn't want to come. THEN to make matters worst I was not to be picked up from given address Well this going to be a major inconvenience. I would cancel but despite saying 24hour telephone No answer Chinese new year ! I tried several times until the 24hr cancelation ran out . So I decided since it was paid I might as well go. At least the driver was Very good. So I would never recommend this to anyone False advert at the start ! Then changing of pick up was so very bad . Rating it very bad

Waste of time . it’s like we took a taxi , we had no clue what is it . On the top the driver was very rude and was 45 min late for the pick up . You rather take a taxi and go by yourself no need for tour . The worst tour i ever had .

Stress free way to explore Gentin Hinghland

It’s the stress free way to visit Gentin Highland driver pick us up at our hotel on time transport us to the cable car station with surprise free stop at Batu cave on the way. Drop us of at the cable car station with round trip cable car tickets and pick us up at 4:00pm same spot. We have 5.5 hours of free time to explore Gentin entertainment complex and the temple on the way down from cable car stop that was enough for us.

We purchase round trip tour for the cable ride. But we were only allowed one way trip. When we tried to go back and our ticket or QR Code was invalid. We would like to get price adjustment and refunded for the return trip that we did not used it.

Heavily Overpriced and Underwhelming Tour Experience

We were a group of 6 people. Paying $329 for a taxi from our hotel in Kuala Lumpur to Awana Skyway is outrageous. For us, the only attractive part of this tour was the Cable Car, which cost $4 for a round trip. Everything else on this trip was an absolute waste of time. On the way, there is a temple. The cable car takes you to a mall at the hilltop, which has some restaurants, a kids' play area, and a few branded shops. That's pretty much it, and we paid $329 for this. If you are planning to go there, take a taxi to Awana Skyway and buy the round-trip cable car tickets. For the return, take a taxi back to your hotel. The cost would be one-third of what we paid. Even then, in my opinion, it is not worth it.

Amazing group trip. The driver/tour guide was informative and helpful. Definitely worth visiting place. Chin Swee Caves Temple was the highlight for me more than the actual Genting Highlands and the big mall there. Thoroughly enjoyed the trip and every part of it. Nothing short of a scam

This is absolute false advertisement. From a lack of adequate preparation to extra payment, there are lots of things wrong with this package. We were told that admission tickets for Awana Skyway and SKYWORLDS theme park were included within this package, yet we were unable to avail such services. Indeed, we were told at both attractions that our tickets were invalid as they should’ve appeared in the form of a QR code, something we did not even receive. For this reason, we had to pay double from our pockets for something that should’ve been given according to this package. The only thing actually included was the transport to and from the hotel. 1/10, would not recommend.

Indran was a good guide, amicable and full of great information. The tram was a lot of fun. I was a little disappointed with the resort. It felt more like a second rate theme park and shopping mall than a destination. I had an enjoyable time but it definitely was not my preference of activities.

The worst, basically it’s a taxi service with bad attitude! Extremely rude!! When he dropped us off, we contacted viator to let them know that we are done with the taxi driver and we will not using his service to go back to our hotel but I guess the message never delivered to the tour operator, he shown up and got mad when he saw we get in to different vehicle and starting take pictures of us and before he decided to go back to his vehicle he said something rude to my elderly mother more likely harrrashing her, it was a total nightmare, we did our part to let Viator know and using our right to cut off the service and NOT demanding any refund or anything and he shown up and harassed us. Do not buy this ‘ Tour ‘

Not worth the cost.

I opted for the convenient but pricey package deal that included transportation from Colmar Tropical to Genting highland with the cable car ride. Little did I know, it came with a hefty USD 45 top-up fee! In hindsight, taking a taxi or Grab and purchasing my own cable car tickets would have been a much more budget-friendly option. The scenic ride was stunning, but the cost left a sour taste. Lesson learned: always research and compare prices to avoid overspending. Next time, I'll be wiser and choose the more affordable route to enjoy the same breathtaking views.

Terrible!! Rip off!! Lazy driver and waste of money

AVOID!!! Waste of money and more importantly your time. This wasn’t a tour. It was just a driver taking you from point A to B. What I paid $110 for, I could have done with only $40 myself by getting a Grab and paying for the gondolas myself. The worst part was the driver did not admit that he was wrong. None of the information that we needed ahead of time was given to us until we had already left the hotel and when he realized that he hadn’t, he refused to return to the hotel even though we were only 5 minutes out and there were no other people in our group. Driver seemed nice at first but he never admitted to his mistakes that ruined the day for us and once he realized that while calm and nice I was unhappy and there was no tip for him, he completely changed attitude and started ignoring us. Horrible company. Save your money and time. I highly advise aviator to drop this company from their list or their own reputation can get in jeopardy.
