    A Worthwhile Adventure

    Stewart_R, Feb 2026
This is a well planned, unhurried and extremely interesting tour around the few remaining colonial buildings of KL. Every site is within walking distance and is reached thru travelling along the original access routes of this city. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, humorous and relaxed. It was a pleasure to be taken around by her. My 16 year old son also enjoyed the experience.

    Afternoon Kuala Lumpur Tour

The tour with Priam was excellent. I learnt a lot about the colonial history and especially the buildings. I did not realise that there was so much to see in the compact area of the city centre. Very informative and I am very pleased I did the tour!

Fascinating Walk Through the City’s History!

    Catherine_A, Nov 2025
I thoroughly enjoyed this tour as it was not your usual visit to a list of tourist attractions but more like taking a walk into the past. The guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the city and the buildings we saw. It was a nice long walk but I ended the day knowing so much more about the city and people. Definitely something a little different! Catherine Anderson New York

Walking Through History with a Passionate Local: An Unforgettable KL experience!

    Rishon_S, Oct 2025
I can’t recommend this historical walking tour enough! From the moment I booked it, everything was handled with such personal care and attention that I knew this was going to be something special. My guide, Pritam, met us right on time at Central Market and immediately made us feel like old friends. This wasn’t one of those rushed, cookie-cutter sightseeing tours - it was a story-rich journey through the very heart of old Kuala Lumpur. Pritam’s deep knowledge of history, architecture, and local anecdotes was astonishing. She brought every building to life, weaving tales of colonial governors, royal visitors, eccentric tycoons, and even the odd spotted dog! What really impressed me was how personal and thoughtful the entire experience felt, and I could ask endless questions and linger wherever our curiosity led. Pritam even had vintage photos to show how each site looked a century ago, which made standing in front of places like the Sultan Abdul Samad Building and the old Malayan Railways Office feel like stepping into an old photograph. The pacing was perfect, leisurely but full of discoveries. From start to finish, this felt less like a tour and more like walking through history with a passionate friend who genuinely loves her city. Every story was told with warmth, humour, and insight - a true blend of scholarship and storytelling flair. If you’re a history buff, architecture lover, or just someone who wants to feel the soul of Kuala Lumpur beyond the guidebooks, this is absolutely the experience to book. I left with not just facts, but a real emotional connection to the city and its history. Bravo to KL Story Walks - this is heritage tourism done right!
