Champ was a great tour guide and started well by being on time. His local knowledge was very informative and easy to understand. Going to Batu Caves early was a good idea as it was getting busy by the time we finished. Definitely recommend the private tour as it was a great way to get around rather than a bus tour.

We spent a wonderful day with, Paul, our driver and guide!
We arrived in Malaysia on a cruise ship that docked in Port Klang, which is approximately 40 km from Kuala Lumpur. Given traffic conditions and our relatively short time in port we knew it could be difficult to visit Batu Caves, but Paul made it work.
Paul was waiting for us as we departed the ship and we immediately drove to temple. Paul expertly guided us up the steps to the interior temples; providing expert explanations along the way. He was patient and knowledgeable; letting us set the pace and answering our many questions.
After we left cave site, Paul was able to provide a quick city tour, with stops at the Petronas Twin Towers and Merdeka Square. We also had the opportunity to stop for some street food (banana fritters and curry puffs) before departing for the ship. What a treat!

A Viator private tour was the best way for us to see the most and learn the most in our limited time in Kuala Lumpur. Our driver and guide, Adnan, met us at the dock as arranged using What's App. His knowledge of the area was extensive and he shared many stories and a great deal of background information as we drove to Batu Caves. He negotiated traffic like a pro and knew right where to go without any delays. Adnan was very accommodating and took us to all the highlights of the city, willingly stopping for photos as we wished. We would highly recommend this Viator private tour and in particular, Adnan as a guide, to make the most of a visit to Kuala Lumpur.

Our driver/guide, Paul picked us up at the port Klang cruise terminal and made a quick stop in Kuala Lumpur to take photo of the Petronius tower and on to Batu Caves. Dropped us off at the entrance and parked and found us before the hike up the stairs. It was very crowded but did not take away from the beauty of the cave formations and the beauty of the temple. On the way back he took us to Chinatown. Then drove us back to the port, to re-board our cruise ship. Great guide and very friendly person. Would definitely hire him again.

Great service, you get a personal guide tour who will work with you all the time and explain the history/details of every sight. Worth trying, booked at 6 am and they picked me up ay 8.30 am sharp. Paul my guide was outsdanding

Do NOT fall for the ratings. This is literally a taxi ride to mount Batu, and should normally cost you Pennie’s per person. We paid over 300 USD for 2 people and it was just a taxi ride that we could’ve simply taken from the street.

Excellent knowledge tour & service provided by out guide Hoopy. The great thing about a private tour is the ability to choose an earlier start time to fit your itinerary & never rushed.. We choose a 08:30 start to avoid the busy crowds at the Batu Caves. Great to see the steps & the caves with minimal people in them. As we were leaving the crowds began to come as the big tour buses arrived.
Took my parents who were in their 70’s & they had no problems with the steps & everything was done at our own pace, so never rushed.
We had plenty of time to see all sights & our guide took & sent pictures to us afterwards.

Great tour. Would have been better if our guide climbed the stairs at the Batu Caves to explain the temples and caves as indicated in the tour info. Waterfalls are beautiful and the hot springs very hot. Guide was knowledgeable and personable but felt a bit stranded in the caves. Enjoyed the local meal and coconut water.

Our tour guide was very nice, but was unable to climb the 272 steps into the Batu caves so once we were in the caves, we didn’t know what we were looking at. I would recommend this trip; however, make sure your guide will be with you the entire time.

Sid was our guide and so nice. Tour just as stated. We started at the Batu Caves and next was the hot Springs and last the waterfall. Be sure to pack a swimsuit if you want to jump in the waterfall- theres bathrooms. And a umbrella as it poured as we were leaving. Great tour !!

Great tour and awesome views. The cave was really quite something. The steps weren't that bad, but I did get scared a bit of the heights. The monkeys were a surprise , so many of them!

Our guide Hoopy contacted us via Whatsapp one day before. Tour was great. Hoopy was very communicative and gave us lots of information, suggestion and advice. Tour was a bit tiring due to so many stairs. Recommended for persons in good health. Hoopy was also great. My husband enjoyed his nasi lemak and I, being vegetarian, Hoopy made sure they prepared got some tasty vegetarian fried glass noodles for me.
