Very informative, friendly, and historical. Voyanna is a great tour guide. Our first time here. We travelled with friends.

Little to no historical content despite asking. Instead got a personal biography of the tour guide. Disappointed

Kotor is a must-see — and even more special with Vuk!
Kotor’s Old Town is already a fascinating place, but exploring it with Vuk (Wolf) took the experience to a whole new level. Friendly, engaging, and deeply knowledgeable about the history of Kotor, Montenegro, and the wider Balkans region, he added tremendous value to our visit in just one hour.
Thanks to him, we understood the context, the hidden details, and the soul of the city. It was an insightful, rich, and truly memorable experience.
I highly recommend taking a guided tour with Vuk — it’s absolutely worth it!

Ivana is the absolute best guide. She was so patient and understanding even with the younger kids who got tired and got fussy during the tour. Its a great highlight tour of Kotor old town but if you’re looking for a more in depth tour this is likely to not satisfy. It was perfect for me as my family had young children and aged parents

The guide was very good, but the tour was way over-priced for just one hour. The only reason we did it was because the longer and lower priced tours were sold out

Milosz was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot from him. He also recommended some of the best pizza I’ve ever had at Pizza Pronto. He really did a great job and we couldn’t be happier.

Via tour has not disappointed yet! Boyanna was AWESOME. her local knowledge brought Kotor to life. She was a pleasure and we would highly recommend both her and Viator.

We had an incredible time in Kotor! Our guide gave us the background and history of the Old Town and provided recommendations and details for places to eat and things to do. Impossible to beat this valve. Our guide was personable and such a sweet person. She grew up in Kotor along with generations of her family. Can’t imagine having a more knowledgeable guide. We are looking forward to visiting again. I would highly recommend this tour to start your day. Enjoy!!

Great excursion! We booked it after we were already in Old Town, very last minute. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly and flexible with what we wanted to see.

Excellent guide, very professional and knowledgeable !! and nice with it.
Details : I did appreciate to see our name on a big sign she made for the day with us. Easy to find each other.
Would recommend anyone who wants to take an hour to discover and understand the history of Kotor.

The walled city of Kotor, Montenegro, was an unexpected delight! You can see the development of a European city from Medieval times through the Venetian Empire to the Baroque era. Our guide Alex was working on his Master's degree in History and it showed. He was super knowledgeable, very well spoken, and presented the information well on the churches, palaces, and plazas we traversed. I would have liked a bit more information on commerce over the ages. Any time we asked a question, he had the answer. Ask him about the cats. He gave time to take photos. The walk was not too strenuous for my 91 year old father.
Meeting Alex outside the city gate was a bit of a challenge because the sign he held did not have our name on it and did not say Viator in big letters. It just said 1 Hour Walking Tour. There are sidewalk cafes just inside the city gate. It might be better to agree to meet at one of those while you sit and drink coffee than to stand in a crowd from the ship looking for Alex.

Very good overview from sophia. She answered all our questions. Enthusiatic and interesting.

Sophia was an OUTSTANDING guide whose pride and love for her country is very apparent!
Our tour followed the same route as those offered by the cruise line at a fraction of the cost....the best part? It was a VERY small group, as opposed to hordes of people on the ship, excursions.
We learned about the history of Montenegro and the significance of the four plazas in the Old Town. I traveled with my elderly mother and 8 year old nephew and it was the perfect pace for all three of us.
I highly recommend!
