Although our skipper did not speak at all or really talk to us about the places we went, the speedboat was soooo fun!!! We swam IN the caves even though the cruise lines say we aren’t allowed to!! Mare and Stefan were amazing!!! Our cruise docked a little later than expected and the Tender took forever to arrive but we made it and they took care of us! We really wanted Stefan to be our your guide but he was booked for a private tour, which we can 100% understand why!!! Would absolutely do this again!!

The spots we visited were great, submarine tunnels, blue cave, lady of the rocks and Perast, but the tour guide was extremely disappointing.
Turned up late, said about 5 words at each stop and most of them were ‘…. And that is it’, and clearly did not want to be there. Picked up a random local at a marina we weren’t due to call at, and then swapped out with another boat driver before we even returned to the original doc. Recommend this tour but not this company Lux.

You travel on a speed boat very fast for a lengthy period. Was way too rough because of high speed that boat was traveling.

First off, the itinerary didn’t match the booking. We never went to lady of the rock, instead we went to Perast for 30 mins. This wasn’t listed at all, and I had already paid 15 euros to park and visit this earlier on the day. Outside of that the guide was awful. He was on his phone literally the entire 3 hour tour, wasn’t paying attention to where we were going and hit absolutely every wave at full speed, throwing everyone on the boat around constantly. There are a ton of options for this same tour, so I recommend going with someone else. The view from the water was stunning but you’re holding on for dear life and can’t safely take photos.

I would NOT recommend a trip with this company, they did not stop at the lady of the rock, therefore you did not get admission to it! They missed half their stated itinerary, there was not a tour guide who explained what things were or actively pointed out some of the items we were supposed to see. He took us straight to the blue cave for 20 mins not 30 mins as stated, and called in at the submarine on the way back and we had to ask him what it was. He then did a drive by the lady of the rock and then back. Lifejackets were not offered, neither was water, and there was no water given. Neither was there any music. 80% of the time the skipper was texting on his phone without his hands on the wheel. Which was dangerous. The tour was supposed to be 12.00-15.00, we got on at 12.15 and off at 14.45. I asked why not doing full itinerary he said blue cave only and to talk to someone when I got off the boat.
The tour is a rip off, I message them via the Viator app whilst on the boat and had no response. I will be complaining to get a refund but based on the service I expect they will not even respond. These should be removed from Viator, ruined our only day in Montenegro.

The tour was not what the itinerary listed. We did not stop at Our Lady of Rocks, also when we went to the blue cave- there was no diving or cliff jumping, we left the cave and went a few hundred yards out and swam there for 5 minutes. No water provided either.
Then after passing by Our Lady of Rocks, we stopped at Perest (a local town) for 15 minutes to walk around, this was unplanned / not on the itinerary.
The tour was fine but not what I was expecting or paid for per the itinerary provided on Viator. If that’s what you are wanting, you’ll be disappointed too. If you just want to go on a boat, then you’ll be fine.
The boat ride was uncomfortable as well, the captain was transiting 40+ knots to make it to the blue cave in around an hour, both going out and coming back were choppy waters going fast, the ride is not comfortable.

The stop in Perast is a common and popular addition many guests enjoy as a pleasant bonus. Our Lady of the Rocks is usually viewed from the water (as we did), and a full landing is not always part of the standard boat tour.
At the Blue Cave, swimming stops are provided for safety reasons. Cliff jumping and diving are not organized activities due to variable conditions and insurance regulations. We prioritize guest safety above all.
The boat speed is necessary to complete the full route comfortably within the scheduled time, especially when waters are choppy. Our captains are experienced and always navigate safely.
We strive to deliver a great experience on the water, and while we understand expectations can differ, the tour followed our standard and safe operational plan.If you have any further concerns, please feel free to contact us directly.

Great way to see the Bay of Kotor. It was timely and fun. Not a lot of information from boat driver about what we were seeing. But he was darling and was a boat maneuvering genius.
Tour I booked said we were going to Lady of the Rocks. We didn’t. We drove past it. Thankfully we stopped at Perast, which wasn’t advertised, but was a welcome and fantastic.

It was a very fun boat ride! The captain was an excellent captain, A+, which was important due to the number of boats around. He tried to minimize the bumpiness, but that was impossible to avoid completely.
As a tour, the sites were interesting; however, we would have liked a little more information than he offered.

It was very chaotic when we arrived at the meeting point. Our boat left 45 min late and there was a lot of drama! We enjoyed the sites we visited but our captain skipped the Submarine tunnels which was one of the reasons we booked this tour. Also the boat ride to the Blue Cave took a very long time. When we reached the Adriatic Sea the waves were very big for a small speedboat. We loved the Blue Cave experience but our return boat ride was absolutely miserable. We were completely drenched wet from the waves and very cold. Ended up getting sick a few days later. Highly recommend making sure the sea/weather conditions are favorable before taking this tour. Also bring towels and rain gear. Be clear with your captain about the sites you want to see as we were disappointed that a major attraction was skipped.

The tour itself was great. We were on a small older (?) speedboat with 12 people. Later afternoon in November so it was a bit chilly but we dressed for it. Seeing the submarine tunnels, the church, the fort was great. But the highlight was the caves. We went inside and it was a thrill. The water was beautifully clear and we saw the sunset. Two dolphins did a quick appearance. The downside was finding the tour itself. There were no definitive signs or identifying clothing on the operators making it feel like we were just at the mercy of some guy in a boat. I was told someone would have my name on a sign but that was not the case. Many different boats were around with many different men. It felt haphazard and in a foreign country, nerve wracking. But as I said, the tour made up for my nervousness! Some people may not enjoy the fast boat and somewhat hair raising ride. I did!

Not a good experience! Speeding over choppy fjord was enough to loosen your teeth. Boat “captain” said perhaps 10 words at each stop; didn’t invite questions and his English was difficult to understand.
There are many other “companies “ offering the same excursion - maybe they’d be better. Also, if it’s cool out, better dress warm or you’ll be chilled to the bone.

Fun adventure. We had terrific weather which made it a lot of fun. The caves were crowded with many boats , so we did not actually swim in the cave. We were able to swim just outside the cave. Tour guide correctly steered us away from the crowded cave.

We had an amazing driver who was looking after us the whole time. He went quick to make sure we got the blue water cave to ourselves for a few minutes before the other boats came. He was very helpful getting all family members on and off the boat safely. Great communication before and during the trip. Would highly recommend!!! It was a great tour with very good service. We went and swam in the lagoons and saw the submarine tunnels as well. The lady of the rocks was very nice! Our driver was excellent in the rough water!

Absolutely amazing experience! At first we had a problem finding the meeting place but we wrote to the provider and they sent someone to meet us, the skipper was amazing as well, he tried as hard to make the ride enjoyable to us and bumped in as few waves as he could. The main con was that we didn't spend as much time in some locations and we needed to stop so he could fuel. But without this the experience was wonderful and a must if you plan to visit kotor!
