Wonderful way to experience Montenegro!! Our boat was very well maintained! Our captain did a great job!! Seeing the blue caves and swimming in the Adriatic was a real highlight. Proximity to our cruise ship was ideal.

The tour is feasible only during good weather conditions. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

It is not allowed the enter in swimwear inside the church, Our Lady of The Rocks - you must have at least a T-shirt on.
It is forbidden to swim and to use a drone at Our Lady of the Rocks.
We recommend you bring sunglasses, a sunhat, sunscreen, a camera, comfortable shoes or sandals, a jacket for chilly weather, swimwear, a towel, and flip flops.
During April, May, and October, the church of Our Lady of the Rocks and the museum are open until 5 pm. In June and September until 6 pm, and in July and August until 7 pm. We recommend you dress warmer during the spring and autumn months because it can be chilly.
If you’re arriving by car, we recommend allowing extra time for your journey. Heavy traffic is expected around the park — which is also your tour’s starting point — along with delays caused by ongoing roadworks on the main road.
Please be at the meeting spot at least 30 minutes early. If you miss the tour, you can join the next available slot as agreed with the operator.

Incredible experience even with iffy weather

This was an incredible experience! We went on a day with iffy weather at the end of the season and the tour company could have easily cancelled and blamed so many other things. But they reached out and said they can adapt the tour to be whatever we want and to be able to experience the parts that meant the most to us. We had an incredible time! Our captain was fun and knowledgeable. He let us connect to blue tooth and blast music as we cruised around. He took us to all the places the tour was supposed to go some we just went through quickly to get us home before dark. The ride back to the dock was incredible. The weather improved and we had an amazing experience watching rainbows. I cannot recommend this experience and this guild service more!

Extremely Unsafe and Unprofessional Boat Tour – Avoid This Company

While the coastline of Kotor is absolutely stunning and worth visiting, our experience on this speed boat tour was nothing short of terrifying and deeply disappointing. From the start, the driver seemed completely uninterested in our safety or the quality of the tour. He was texting constantly while driving, barely paying attention to the water or our surroundings. He drove recklessly fast, launching the boat over waves so aggressively that we were bouncing hard in our seats — it was incredibly uncomfortable and felt dangerous. The so-called stops were also a complete letdown. We spent maybe 20 seconds in the submarine cave and even less time in one of the blue caves, which were the main reasons we booked the tour in the first place. There was no commentary and definitely no time to appreciate anything. The worst part? On the return trip, the driver allowed an 8 to 10-year-old child to drive the boat — seriously. The kid could barely see over the wheel. Meanwhile, the driver just stood nearby, completely unconcerned. He even sped up to “beat” a ferry crossing in front of us, playing a reckless game of chicken with a large vessel. Other boaters were yelling at us for speeding through the area, and honestly, I don’t blame them. If you want a Captain on his phone the whole time with a kid driving the boat, this is the tour for you. We felt unsafe the entire time, and what should have been a relaxing, scenic experience was instead stressful and chaotic. This company clearly has no regard for safety regulations, professionalism, or their customers’ wellbeing. I would not recommend them to anyone — look elsewhere if you want to actually enjoy the coastline of Kotor.

That was never our intention. Guest safety and satisfaction are always our top priority. To be honest, your review came as a surprise. At the end of the tour, you thanked the skipper and didn’t express any concerns. Our team was also present at the meeting point and available to assist, but no issues were mentioned at that time. The skipper who led your tour is a licensed professional with many years of experience. We’ve consistently received excellent feedback about his work. You also had a guide on board whose role is to provide informative commentary while allowing guests to enjoy the scenic views, as outlined in the tour itinerary. Regarding the speed of the boat, all movement is closely monitored by the Maritime Safety Department through the VTS system, especially in the narrowest part of the bay near the ferry crossing. Exceeding speed limits is simply not possible. That said, we understand that speedboat rides can feel more intense, particularly when there are waves. A bumpier ride is quite normal for this type of vessel. If you found the ride uncomfortable, we truly wish you had spoken to the skipper during the tour. He would have gladly adjusted things to make the ride more pleasant for you. As for the time spent at each stop, for example at the Blue Cave, there were many other boats entering and exiting at the time. For safety reasons, the skipper brought you inside to see the cave, but staying longer wasn’t possible in such crowded conditions. The same applies to the submarine tunnels. It’s not feasible to go in and out in just 20 seconds. The stop lasted around five minutes, as planned in the itinerary. Regarding the child near the helm, it was simply a brief photo moment. The child stood next to the wheel under full supervision of the skipper. The boat was always under complete control, and at no point was safety compromised. We sincerely appreciate your feedback and are truly sorry that you didn’t share any concerns during or immediately after the tour. Had you mentioned that the ride was uncomfortable, we’re confident the skipper would have done everything he could to make your experience more enjoyable. Kind regards

We had so much fun on this trip! Loved seeing Our Lady of the Rocks, the old Soviet sub bases and the Blue Cave. We got to swim off the boat in a quiet area, too. Our driver was great-he was a local who knew a lot about the area. Highly recommend!

Private boat tour for a couple

Great boat and captain. Was friendly and gave explanation about the area and some history. We felt safe and secure during the ride. The only small downsize was that it’s not very warm at this time so with the boat and the wind you feel a bit cold so bring warm clothing to be on the safe side

It was an amazing experience, our captain proactively led the boat early to the caves which made possible for us to dive into the water and swim in the blue water inside the caves without other boats around. He give us a great and complete explanation on each historic point and he was very kind and attentive the whole time

Fun Boating day!

We had a fun day with Pavle (I hope I am spelling that correctly) our boat captain! We learned so much about the history of the area. The submarine tunnels were amazing and creepy all at once! We found some great places to swim, my sons and I are strong swimmers so it was easy for us but my husband is not and got in and out quickly since he didn’t feel as confident in the current. Just one negative is It is quite a far ride to the blue cave but my sons (21,18&14) said it was one of their favorite tours we did on our trip to Europe.

Private Speed Boat Tour was the perfect way to explore Kotor

Our family of five, including my teenage kids and my mother-in-law, were on a cruise with Royal Caribbean. We were excited to see Kotor, Montenegro, but we were not prepared for how beautiful it was. Waking up in the morning to see the old town, bright blue water, and mountains was breathtaking. There were a lot of tour options in Kotor, and we knew we wanted to see the town, but we also wanted to give the kids a little break from walking tours. So we decided to book a private speed boat tour. We got off the ship and took the first hour to walk the old town, which was amazing, and then took the 5-minute walk over to the marina area, where we met our captain. We had a private bow rider speed boat, and it was the perfect way to see all of Kotor and the bay. Our first stop was the Lady of the Rocks, where our captain dropped us off, and we took 20 minutes to explore the historic site and small island. It was totally worth it and nice to be on a private boat, as we slipped in before the large group came off a tour boat. From there, we took an hour to head out and around the bay. We stopped at the Yugoslavia Secret Naval Tunnels where they hid subs and warships, which was pretty cool, and then went way out to the Blue Grotto, where we had time to swim in the crystal clear blue water. It was the perfect way to spend the day on the Bay of Kotor and see all of the area. Highly recommend it, especially for anyone coming off a cruise ship, as it was nice to have a quiet family-only tour for a couple of hours.

Preferably was a great driver and story teller! He was very informative and answered all of our questions. He even found a quiet spot for us to swim after the cave. This was a great tour. It was very busy in the morning, but this fit per schedule perfectly as a cruise ship passenger. I do recommend!!!
