Captain Dado was a pro! He gave us a smooth ride a sunny day and was very informative. I highly recommend this company and of course, Captain Dado!

We travelled with friends. The sea was calm initially but grew to a wavy tide that made the boat ride bumpy. Awesome view of the mountains and turquoise- colored sea. Temperature was perfect, not too hot nor.cold.

This is one of the most memorable tours we've ever been on. The boat operator/ tour guide did excellent job telling us the stories behind the important places we stopped at during the tour.
It's a 5/5 for me

Had a great time. Learned a lot. The boat ride was very rocky in the front, recommend you sit in the back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our boat trip from Kotor. The boat felt like it was brand new and was very comfortable. We opted for the 3hr tour, which felt like a good length, we got to explore the blue cave, and various sights around Kotor Bay. The operator was also really flexible, when one of us got sick they allowed us to move our trip back a day. Overall a really enjoyable experience and a highlight of our trip to the area,

The experience entailed an hour long boat ride at full throttle to get to the Blue Cave and submarine pen. Once at the Blue Cave there were 13 other boats there. In short crowds, limited time for actual activities and not an enjoyable boat ride. We had seen this tour as highly rated. In hindsight we would have much preferred more time in Kotor than being in this tour.

The boat ride was fun. However our driver used our trip as a taxi to pick up other travelers to take to different destinations. It added more people than the 12 that was advertised,
Obviously our tour was not his primary objective. However, the tour was fun and the other travelers made it fun. I would not recommend your company but I would recommend the event

It can be a fast bumpy ride to the caves but it was lots of fun! We jumped in the beautiful blue waters and swam in the cave!
Gemma_U, Aug 2025
A really interesting and fun day out. Being able to jump off the boat at the swimming spot was a highlight.
Bear in mind there are lots of boats that go to the same places so it's VERY busy. The ride is extremely bumpy so I wouldn't recommend if you don't have good strength to hold on or if you have a bad back. We were thrown around quite a lot!

This was a great excursion! The beauty was amazing.
They had a few mask but no snorkels. I wish I would have brought some (swimming wasn’t very long but great).

Viator emailed me that the tour time was change from 12PM to 3PM which wasn't good because of the cruise ship departure.
when I tried to cancel I was told that it wasn't canceled.
It turned out that the company Horizon who Viator used for the excursion said they didn't know anything about the time change and the excursion would continue so they wouldn't return my money.
The water was so ruff that we couldn't explore the Blue caves.
the whole excursion was a mess.

Since it was our first experience on a fast boat, at first it seemed a little extreme, especially with our three-year-old, but after a while we got used to it. My wife asked for a life jacket for our toddler, which the captain kindly fetched.
Otherwise, the tour was absolutely great and I recommend it to everyone who wants to take a shorter excursion. The captain was a great guide who in an interesting and yet concise manner told us about every place we visited.. We had a great 20 minute swim near the blue cave and water was handed out.
Definitely worth the money!

The boat trip lasted only two and a half hours, even though I was clearly told it would be three hours from Perast. Also, we were told it would be a private tour, but two other people who weren’t with us joined the ride. As a result, my two brothers had to sit in the front and take all the hits from the waves. On top of that, the boat staff were quite unfriendly throughout the trip.
Response from Host, Jul 2025
Boat tour start from Kotor and from Kotor is 3h tour, you request start from Perast so becouse of that tour was 2h30min, sou should come in Kotor and start from Kotor than your tour will be 3h long. And its not correct that someone told you that it will be private tour becouse you didnt reserve private tour you reserve group tour/ticket tour so its your mistake becouse you reserve group tour. I just think that you are bad people who want to do the tour and to tell something was wrong just to take your money back but that is not possible becouse you do all tour and visit all place what is included in this tour.

It was very hard to find the captain in the spot promised. It took us almost 20 mins.
The boat was new and clean. The captain was very unfriendly and busy with his phone all along the tour. first 30 mins of the tour are actually water taxi - the boat is picking up and dropping off people.
The rest of the tour was very nice and all the "program" promised - was given.
Its like taking a water bus on a speedboat. no more.

Had a great speedboat tour with Blue Horizon. Our cruise ship tender was severely delayed so we missed our 9am sailing and they easily accommodated us for the noon departure. The captain safely got us through the blue cave, where many people were swimming (even though they aren't supposed to) and where there were many boats inside at the same time. It was a great 3 hour outing on a very hot day.
Rich_J, Jul 2025
The staff at the dock basically ignored me. Only tended to the group of customers from the cruise ship. Didn’t even tell me to come board the boat. I had to follow the rest of the people. Truly disrespectful. And the blue cave wasn’t accessible today due to currents. Terrible company
Mary_S, Jul 2025
Very disappointing! Boat broke down, returned 90 minutes late to dock with no time to visit the old town! No water, or snorkeling equipment offered. We did get to the blue cave but couldn’t swim in it (too crowded). Boat ride was VERY fast and extremely bumpy. Only allowed 10 minutes at the church!
Clarissa_C, Jun 2025
Beautiful water, refreshing swim. Enjoyed it. Would recommend if you want to see views from the water.
Andrea_S, Jun 2025
Fast ride out to the blue cave- cave was okay to be in but having a swim there was amazing. Getting a brief commentary about the area was good - great boat driving skills
mark_s, May 2025
Great way to see the amazing scenery in the Bay of Kotor. A variety of sights both natural & historical.
alon_a, May 2025
interesting trip as promised in tour title. problem was in loading, where the driver went around the area picking up more people in various sites thus wasting about 15-20 minutes. The boast was a little too crowded with 12 people. 10 should be the limit . This is a 3 hour trip not a short ride.
There was not too much explanation by the driver and the visit to the submarine tunnel was 4 minutes instead of 10.
It seemed that he was rushed because of the loading delay, and he had to get back in time to pick up his next group.
It was also hard to find the "blue and orange" sign among the many other sellers of the same trip.
All in all, it was a nice excursion, but these things took away from the total experience

It was amazing and a must do activity! The sea was bit rough but the captain handled it well. We had a lovely time!
Amber_L, Nov 2024
We were a little hesitant having booked our tour for the end of November but it was such a beautiful day and the water was perfect for boating. We had a very packed three hours that seemed to fly by without feeling rushed at any one location. Would absolutely recommend.
Ram_I, Jul 2024
This tour is a hit or miss. It says 3hour tour but with the amount you paid for? I dont think it is worth it. Let me tell you why.
You will just go to Lady of the Rocks which is just an island for 20min, and another 15min to just very quickly see the Blue Cave and have some dip in the water. Thats it nothing special!
We were disappointed for mainly two things:
1. The speed boat driver/ tour guide was rude and did not care about us, as if he is just rushing to finish his job and go home. We could not even understand a word he is saying at all! Also, he smokes whilst driving so all his cigarettes would be on your face if you are sat behind the wheels. Disgusting!
2. Like I said, the 3hour tour will just consume your travel time on the boat because Blue Cave (which is btw just a normal cave with blue water in it) is quite far from Kotor. You even only stay inside the cave for less than 3mins tops because other speed boats need to come in! So most of your time is just spent on the boat travelling. Very disappointing tour! So not sure why the reviews here will say this is a highly recommended tour. Trust me this is not worth every penny!

Dragan was a great captain. It was easy to find the right zone in the park, everyone was efficient and very clear on what was happening. The day we went the weather was too rough to go to the Blue Caves, however we were still taken on a full tour and saw a few other things instead. Great quality, felt safe and taken care of the whole time. Would strongly recommend

Very enjoyable outing to three fabulous locations. Captain was very personable. Handled the boat well. Definitely recommed this tour to anyone.

It was very beautiful, our tour guide we had was very friendly. I wish we had go to snorkel, but it was still very fun!

Excellent sea tour and I recomended that tour who will coming in Kotor.Stefan is the best captain .Thank you
Charles_M, May 2024
Just so others know about this excursion I will comment. I booked this for our friends and us so a total of 4. The boat holds about 12 snuggly. Well about 8 boats go out onto the water at one time ( each holding about the same amount of people). The drivers of the boats are young men and they race each other from site to site. They give you 20 mins at the Our Lady of the Rock but if people are not back in time you just sit there waiting. My friend finally went to get the late 2 people. The ride to the blue cave is VERY bumpy and long so be aware. I had neck pain when done. In the blue cave all 8 boats came in at one time very close to each other and people were jumping in the water near the boats and motors. Once we left the cave we had about another 20 mins of water time and continued to watch people in the water way too close to the boats with crashing waves on rocks. I am so surprised no one got hurt.
On a positive point, the submarine tunnels were very interesting.
If you want an excursion for loud music and jumping in the water this would work, but if you want an excursion to learn about the Blue Cave, Our Lady on The Rock etc this would probably not meet your needs.

The weather was awful and we were not informed of about how terribly cold it would be. We weren't given rain coats even though it was raining. We didn't get to go blue caves because the skipper decided at the last minute that it will not be a good idea. The skipper was also late so we had to wait for half an hour for our tour to even start.
Response from Host, Nov 2023
Dear customer,
I am very sorry to hear you were so disappointed with our tour. Unfortunately I have to say that most of the things you said is not correct. Skipper was late max 15 min, because he had to make some technical tests and he apologize for that.
Skipper gave you rain coats, since it was rain and you were very light dressed. He also asked you are you sure that you wish to go on the tour dressed for warmer weather. You had possibility to give up. You know, it is the end of November, and if you checked forecast you could find out that it is very much cold in Montenegro, and assume that on the open speed boat could be even colder because of the wind. I do not understand what you expected: that we inform all our passengers about forecast and what to wear?
You were also informed after 1 hour of the tour start that there is possibility that you will not visit Blue Cave because of the wind, but that he will try. When there is no possibility to visit Blue Cave we give some extra time for visit another attraction, but this tour ended earlier because you were frozen (I wanted to say that our other passengers didn't get additional time only because of you.)
At the end, most of your disappointment is only your fault. The only thing which was our fault is that skipper was 15 min late, and for that I apologize to you again.
