This is a taxi. Nothing even close to the pictures presented when booking the service. No one holding a board with my name on arrival. Had to call out my own name until the driver who was chatting with friends finally snapped to. I was also assured that the driver was "at my disposal" for any stops (grocery store) I wanted to make as long as not more than 2 hours. This was not true. I made the stop anyway and was charged 50 SEK + 11 SEK per minute of waiting time. About 25 minutes at 300 SEK later we were on our way. Just out of Kiruna and the driver gets pulled over by police for some violation that remains unclear to me. So that was me "waiting" on the driver for about 25 minutes while he got the ticket, etc. My suggestion to give my money (cash) back for the delay he caused was met with a laugh and a "no". Contacted the taxi provider customer support via chat and they were also of no help. "Sorry". $498.00 USD for private transfer including stops for the 1.5 hour trip to Abisko. I could not be more disappointed. I canceled my return trip and booked a private taxi for 50% less. Recommend emailing Abisko Taxi & Bus for prompt service and hassle free transport - they go both directions. (abisko-taxi-bus@hotmail.com)
