Tha tour was spectacular. Even in the rain the experience was enthralling. And our guide took us directly to the top of the Kerry Cliffs by car. We were gobsmacked by the beauty!! Shelagh was a terrific tour guide!!

We enjoyed Sheila, our driver, and her flexibility throughout the day. The Ring of Kerry is a beautiful and scenic drive. Although there are some super narrow roads, Sheila managed them beautifully with confidence. We really enjoyed the sheep dog demonstration and our late afternoon lunch in Waterville at a restaurant right on the coastline with a beautiful view. We found a museum we’d like to visit that wasn’t on the itinerary and Sheila worked it in. The van was quite comfortable and we would highly recommend this tour if you want to see the entire area where the big buses can’t take you.

It was fantastic! We hired Lexy Lynn to plan our trip. I gave her the highlights we wanted to see and she did the rest. It took so much stress out of it all. We also had a private driver which was amazing! We didn’t have to rush and if we wanted other stops we could do it. Give yourself time at each stop.

We had an amazing time on the Ring of Kerry tour with Sheila! She was fun, engaging, and full of fascinating info that brought every stop to life. The sheep dog demonstration was a real highlight — the dogs were impressive — and the Kerry Cliffs were absolutely stunning. Sheila made the whole day feel special. Highly recommend!

Our private tour with David was fantastic! We were glad to have him drive and point out the significant places so we both could enjoy the tremendous views and beauty of the Ring of Kerry. We made occasional stops to enjoy viewpoints or towns, stretch our legs and grab a bite to eat. The day was well paced and so very pleasant! David was so friendly, knowledgeable, and a terrific driver!

Our driver was in our hotel lobby at around 8:40 AM - he was a cheerful gentleman named Joseph. He had tons of knowledge and stories about the area. He stopped at some many places for us to explore and take pictures and take in the scenary. He asked us even before departing on what we have done and not done in the area. Based on what we have already completed, he did the scenic routes with Kerry Bog Village, Skellig Chocolate Factory, a round about route to view Skellig Islands, stopped in Waterville for lunch (Charlie Chaplin town). multiple vistas and view points, and the town of Sneem for ice cream and Ladies View point for the final stop. We started around 9:15 AM and were dropped back at around 4:30 PM

This is an ideal way to tour the Ring of Kerry. Our guide David has been offering this tour for only a short time but one would never know he hasn’t been doing this for decades. As a native, he gave us the insider’s view with just enough history. We stopped whenever he thought we would find something of interest. We never felt rushed. We traveled on roads that were narrow but David navigated with ease. This is The Way to see and enjoy the Ring of Kerry.

Our tour of the Ring of Kerry with Aisling was the highlight of our vacation in Ireland. Aisling was a wonderful guide, full of all kinds of interesting information, like what the letters and numbers on Irish license plates mean, and the history of the country and sports today. She went out of her way to make the day great for us. Besides being extremely courteous, friendly, and conversational, she was very helpful with information and options to meet our needs and interests. For example, she offered to stop at an ATM when we discovered we might need cash; she went ahead into a restaurant at our stop in Waterville to get a place in line for us; when it began to rain on the Kerry Cliffs, she drove closer to where we were so that we could reach the car sooner and not get as wet; and she offered to stop at the sheepdog demonstration with Tom O’Sullivan, which was such a great experience to us as well. The drive, sights, and views were lovely, beautiful, and spectacular as it was, and Aisling made it all that much more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this tour and to ask for Aisling as your guide. Thank you.

We had a private tour with casssndra who was very knowledgeable, considerate and funny. We were able to go to hidden gems that the big buses couldn't navigate and had a very pleasant experience. I would highly recommend this tour - it's personable and lovely!! Sites were amazing, lots of history, we had fun learning about Ireland! If you can only do one tour, this should be it!!

Ireland is a beautiful country. Jim did a great job showing us the typical Ring of Kerry sites. But because of his knowledge of the area he took us to more hidden spots down by the coast and up in the hills. We could really experience the beauty and culture of Ireland.

I am so glad I decided to do a private tour of the Ring of Kerry instead of taking a bus. I got to see so many small out of the way places and drive on remote roads at my own pace. The scenery was amazing and the guide/driver was so kind. I loved every moment of the tour. The Kerry cliffs, “Ladies View and the Waterfall being my favorites. But I also loved just driving through the mountains on the narrow roads. What a beautiful experience.
