Itinerary

Kick off your tour of the Dingle Peninsula at an easy-to-find meeting spot in central Killarney. From there, board a comfortable vehicle destined for some of Ireland’s most spectacular coastal sights.

Following a roughly 45-minute drive, arrive at Inch Beach, a stretch ravaged by the crashing waves of the Atlantic Ocean. Visit spots featured in famous films such as "Far and Away" and "Ryan’s Daughter", and, if you’re feeling particularly brave, dip your toes into the chilly water.

Then, travel along the Slea Head Drive, a coastal route considered one of Ireland’s and Europe’s most scenic. Stop to absorb views of the Blasket Islands before arriving at your final stop, the town of Dingle.

In this quaint yet cosmopolitan fishing village, enjoy free time to enjoy a pint of Guinness (own expense) and wander charming streets surrounded by greenery.

Your tour concludes back at your original departure point in Killarney.

This tour was AMAZING! Batt was my tour guide and he was great! The tour is unbelievably scenic. Even with a bit of rain at the end it was gorgeous. You really do see a TON during the tour and get to stop a ton for pics and exploring. Highly would rec

Dingle is lovely!

Go when it’s good weather ..it was raining so not as nice. The views are so beautiful and Michael was funny and full of information.

Do not recommend

Anna_O, Aug 2025
I don’t recommend this particular Paddywagon tour. The bus was late coming from Cork. It was a different coach than expected. The seats were very cramped, you couldn’t see outside of both sides, I had to stand to see the views, there wasn’t WiFi or USB ports as advertised. I couldn’t take pictures from the coach because the seats were so close, all I got were people’s heads, them taking pictures and the advertising at the top of the bus windows. Our driver, Igor, was very concerned about time. He let us off for 2 stops along slea drive and gave us “7-10 minutes to stop, take pictures and make memories”. He’s then honk at us to return. We had no time to enjoy views. I couldn’t enjoy the view of the drive since I was on the opposite side of the bus. The driver also took time to point out a home with a Palestine flag and talked about how expensive things are due to the Ukraine and Russia war. None of that was necessary. It wasn't at all related to the tour, Irish history or anything. It was not necessary. The guide and awful coach just ruined this entire experience. It was the worst tour I’ve ever booked. It was a waste of a day and money.

Thank goodness for the views

The views make this trip worth the money. Our tour operator didn't provide much of a narrative and played US country music from Dingle to Killarney. I hear enough of that, what about some Irish music when in Ireland. The bus driver was a bit crude and I did not appreciate the horn honking to get everyone back. Other tours (different operators) have gone smoothly by telling us to be back at a certain time and not "come back when you hear the horn". Not my favorite tour.

More jokes told than history given

Patricia_F, Oct 2024
The views were spectacular. Unfortunately, our guide could have done a better job. He had minimal commentary during our drives and mostly told jokes. When we arrived at the famous medieval beehives, he didn't even mention them. He only spoke about the option to feed a lamb at the site. He didn't seem to know a lot of the history of the area. He referenced various points that our bus driver mentioned to him. The tour description stated we'd be dropped off at the same location as our pickup spot. This didn't happen. We were dropped off several blocks away. Fortunately, we were able to figure out where we were and were able to walk back. However, a more disabled or elderly person might have had more difficulties.

Terrible. A transistor bus gives you more

Richard_G, Oct 2024
Terrible trip. Got maybe 20 minutes of commentary on entire trip and that was only stuff like , look at all the pretty views. Went by Unesco world sites with no mention. Blared West Virginia almost heaven on Slea Drive. Come on. Will never go on Paddywagan again Sent from my iPhone

Fine

Dingle harbour and inch beach were lovely. Views were terrific and area spectacular. Driver was too hard to understand

Connection

Having a very personal and meaningful conversation with miss Ashley our guide, and getting to see the town in the sun was magnificent!

Your views fine but overall experience average

Alicia_H, Jun 2024
Views were fantastic and stops. Bus was a bit cramped and since we were last to get picked up only seats left were in very back. Bumpy and a little bus sickness… We were given a refund because they overbooked and two of our 8 got bumped.

Dingle Tour/Stress Free Driving

Resa_M, Apr 2024
A wonderful tour of the Dingle peninsula, scenic views and picturesque stops along the way. Time in Dingle town to try out a pub and shop. Left the stress of driving these narrow winding roads to a professional driver!

Phenomenal tour!

Wonderful tour of the Dingle Peninsula

The coastline of the Dingle Peninsula; the information given by Joe, our driver and guide; the friendly attitude of Joe; the beautiful weather (we were lucky!)

Lovely way to see beautiful Ireland...

Kathleen M, Jun 2018
Lovely way to see beautiful Ireland. Glad I did it, but Dingle very over rated, glad I did tour but enjoyed ring of Kerry much better. If you can only do one,do the ring of Kerry tour instead.

Had a great day out at Dingle only...

pprestonfamily, Dec 2017
Had a great day out at Dingle only shortcoming was the beehive hut place but underwhelming but apart from that enjoyable day

Bien organisé.

Trés bien organisé. Guide compétent et talentueux pour raconter. Une belle expériemce. Des paysages magnifiques.

Désagrément

Christiane_B, Jun 2024

Have you seeen the Paddywagon?
