Make your own way to the pier by Ross Castle in time for your aftrnoon departure, and hop aboard for a thrilling cruise around the Killarney Lakes.
Set sail across Lough Leane and enjoy impressive views of the 15th-century Ross Castle and the ruins of St. Finian’s monastery on Innisfallen Island. Continue past Ross Island and the Copper mines, and take in magnificent views of the lakes, islands, and forests from the panoramic glass windows.
Listen to the on-board commentary as you pass beneath the dramatic peaks of the MacGillycuddy Reeks and catch sight of Ireland’s highest mountain, Carrauntoohil. If you’re lucky, you might also spot some of the national park’s wildlife, such as herds of red deer grazing on the lakeside or white-tailed eagles swooping overhead.
Your tour ends back at Ross Castle.

Great tour to see a different view of Killarney with wonderful commentary to go with it. Tour guide was local and the lake was incredibly scenic.
For a short cruise, you get beautiful views, some history and a pleasant ride. Paol was a very pleasant tour guide.

It was a rainy morning, but the boat was dry and cozy! So nice to take a gentle cruise around the lake- and watch the sky clear.

What an amazing experience! The boat ride was one of the highlights of our trip, and my toddler absolutely loved every minute of it. It was both fun and educational—we learned about the different islands and their fascinating history while enjoying the beautiful scenery.

Secret tip on Fridays - no coach tours. There were only about 10 on our boat. Paul our captain and host was lovely snd full of information. We were fortunate enough to see 2 sea eagles which he pointed out. Amazing! Well worth the trip beautiful scenery and very calming.
A lovely cruise on one of Killarney’s lakes leaving from Ross castle. However I would buy my ticket at the cruise ship itself as it’s €5 per person cheaper.
perfect little trip to do before a pint of guinness in killarney . only an hour long if you don’t want to do an all day trip . captain was very knowledgable about the area .

Great views of Ross Castle from the lake! Got to see a lot more from the boat that we wouldn't have from shore. Would love to go again in the open top boats too!
The 4 of us enjoyed this covered lake cruise. Our guide was knowledgeable and humorous and answered questions from the passengers. It was a bit rainy, so nice to be enclosed, but it does hamper the view a bit.

My sisters 40th and my sons 18th bday was so nice to relax around the lakes totally would recommend this we had 11 adults and two babies they loved it ..thanks for the tour and the history lesson

Would have been an amazing experience if the hen party was a bit more hush so we could hear exactly what our tour guide was saying, would recommend to a friend but maybe hens etc. could be kept for seperate times for sailing
