From the time Richard picked us up at our hotel we felt like we were traveling with a friend. He customized our trip around the things we wanted to see during the day. We went to places that the tour buses could not go, making the crowds non existent. I would highly recommend booking with Peter.

If I had only one day in Ireland, this tour with Peter might be how I’d spend it. The landscape itself took our breaths away, as did the wild life we encountered. Peter is kind, patient, and so full of local and historical knowledge. He adapts the tour on the go according to your interests, and stop after stop he nailed it.

We had such an amazing tour, guided by Peter! We were so pleased with how comfortable and clean the van was. Peter was extremely knowledgeable, drove safely, and recommended a great lunch spot!! Peter was absolutely fantastic--so knowledgeable, friendly, generous with his time and an excellent driver. He went above and beyond to make the day stress-free and recommended little stops along the way that he thought would be interesting to us as we chatted in the car (a highlight for us was a sheepdog demonstration that he suggested after learning my parents are huge animal lovers!). It was amazing to drive both the ring of Kerry and the Skellig ring which is only accessible by car.
I booked this tour as a gift for my parents' 40th anniversary and it was worth every penny--a really unforgettable day.

We’ve taken private day tours in the past—in Rome and, more recently, in Barcelona. They were rich with history, culture, and folklore. A feast for the eyes and ears. Based on those experiences, we signed up for a Ring of Kerry tour with high expectations.
The good news:
The driver’s skills were excellent. Even on impossibly narrow, winding roads through dense fog, we never felt unsafe. His driving was calm and confident.
The not-so-good:
We were hoping for commentary on Irish history, culture, and folklore. Instead, the narrative was light, anecdotal, and far from educational.
We were picked up in a cab, not a tour van. A hula dancer figurine bobbed on the dashboard, and the driver smelled of smoke. He was friendly—about our age (we’re 75)—but his constant refrain, “You know what I mean?” punctuated by elbow nudges, grew tiresome over the seven-hour day.
The weather didn’t help. Fog, rain, and low clouds blanketed much of the scenic route. Visibility was sometimes under 100 feet. The driver tried to compensate with remarks like, “If you could see it, that mountain is breathtaking,” or, “The cliffs to the right are even more stunning than the Cliffs of Moher.” Unfortunately, we never saw them.
Historical insights were minimal. For instance, in Killorglin we passed the stand used during the Puck Fair, where a goat is displayed. But the background of the tradition (a 17th-century warning of danger during Cromwell’s pillaging) wasn’t shared. We only learned that later from a jaunting car driver on a different tour.
As for lunch, the driver took us to his “favorite” spot—a dingy corner bar that lacked toilet paper in the women's bathroom. We suspect it was run by a friend. We opted to eat elsewhere and were glad we did.
This tour was as expensive as others we've enjoyed—but sadly, it didn’t measure up. Disappointing from start to finish. We do not recommend.

I am so sorry that Kerry is not a Rome or Barcelona but poor beautiful Irish countryside. I am sorry for poor visibility, Ireland is always blue sky.
Great tour of the ring of Kerry. Kris was an excellent guide. He was very knowledgeable and explained the sites as well as answered all of our questions. He also did not rush us whatsoever and let us take our time enjoying the different sites.

If u are self driving, ditch your car for a day and treat yourself to this fun, comprehensive, relaxing, eye candy scenic tour. Tony was our fearless driver and he knew just where to stop for breath taking views. I took so many photos ( and this was before lunch!) that my phone reqired a recharge and our nifty car had charge cables galore.
We have been in Ireland, self driving for 2 weeks but this tour eclipsed all we had seen.
Tony was also knew the history of all stops ( and a few tales)
.....if you know what I mean.
Do this Ring of Kerry tour, you'll not be disappointed, you'll fall in love with Ireland totally. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts Tony. You are an Irish gem.

Our guide was Tony!! One of a kind and special guy who made jokes til the end of our time. We started at 9am and finished by 6pm. He was so knowledgeable and brought us to all the spots on the side of road that had the best picture opportunities for the amazing scenery.
Tony, not only shared fascinating insights about the places we visited but also went out of the way to make sure we were comfortable, entertained, and well taken care of throughout the day.
The vehicle was clean, comfortable, and perfect for the journey. He navigated smoothly and safely.

The scenery along the way was spectacular! Having a personal driver seemed so much nicer than driving in a large group tour. Tony had a sense of humor that made the drive fun and he always told us to take our time at our stops. He was extremely helpful when my daughter became car sick and the mess had to be cleaned up. .

This was our first ever trip to Ireland and we had a truly amazing time on this tour. Our first-class driver/guide, Piotr J. (my Polish brethen) was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating, allowing stops when asked, answering questions and providing information about the towns and villages we stopped in or passed thru enroute to the Kerry Cliffs. The sights, the scenery and people we encountered along the way will not be forgotten.

Our small van chauffeur/guide, Peter, picked our family up from our hotel in
Kilarney. We were a family of six adults, and Peter drove us to the following
locations:
Torc Waterfall
Ladies View
Kenmare Town
Coomakista, stop
Kerry Cliffs
Bellycarbery Castle
Cahergall Fort
Peter gave us plenty of time to explore and view all the locations, and he spent the
entire day driving our family safely to all these destinations. Water bottles were
provided upon request. We stopped, in Waterville at The Lobster Bar and
Restaurant, for an enjoyable lunch. We continued our trip of the Ring of Kerry to the
the remaining destinations, and were returned to our hotel.
We appreciated the time Peter spent with us.
Fantastic tour! Piotr was an excellent guide providing a customizable experience along with great suggestions of where to stop and what to do. He provided history and information on the area along the way. We felt very safe on the smaller roads with an experienced driver. Definitely worth it!
