Driver/Guide didn’t show up

The guide didn’t show up. It was my only night in Kigali and I didn’t feel comfortable going out alone so this was a huge disappointment. I am giving two stars instead of one because they did offer to send the driver later after I sent them a WhatsApp message, but that would have been too late for me. If you book with this company I would highly recommend reaching out by WhatsApp in advance to confirm because they said they didn’t even know about the tour, even though I had a confirmation email. They told me to email viator for a refund, which I did… but I have not heard back. A very frustrating experience.

What a waste of money, honestly my piece of advice to anyone who wants to book for a tour not to book a tour like this. I bet you, you will regret why you booked for such a tour. I paid 69$ for this tour even reached out to the tour operator with some questions which she responded but was emphasizing on the motorcycle tour which I don’t like thou the other option which was the car was quite expensive telling her if there is other option apart from motorcycle and car but she said none. At first i thought a car will pick me up from my hotel to the location then take a motorcycle which I paid for the tour but to my greatest surprise it was a motorcycle i saw. I was very pissed off and when she saw that I was not happy, they made arrangement for a car and took me to a bar close to my hotel 15 minutes walk from my hotel. Took one bottle of beer for 2k then walk to the green lounge which is 15 minutes from the bar and I took a bottle of coke for 2k then they order for a taxi to my hotel. That’s the tour for 69$ and when you convert it to RWF is 109,000 RWF which on your own can’t finish for such a tour if you decide to do that on your own. My first time tour and my first time using this app to book for a tour has made my visit unpleasant one. Worst tour ever, waste of money and poor communication. I totally regret with passion.

These details are also outlined in the tour description. You proceeded with the motorcycle option, and at no point was a different arrangement confirmed. We understand that personal preferences can change, but if the motorcycle experience was not comfortable for you, there was an option to cancel or select the car tour beforehand. During the tour, when you expressed dissatisfaction, we still made an effort to adjust and arranged alternative transport to ensure your comfort. Regarding pricing, the 69 USD you mentioned does not go entirely to us as the tour operator. A portion is retained by the booking platforms, including TripAdvisor and Viator, which is standard across the industry. Additionally, the tour cost includes not only transportation, but also the time, service, and guidance provided throughout the experience. We also want to clarify that the prices mentioned for drinks in your review are not accurate based on the locations visited. We always aim to take guests to places that reflect fair and local pricing. We take pride in our communication and always ensure that guests are well informed before confirming their bookings. Exceeded Expectations — Safe, Personalized, and So Much Fun

This nightlife tour exceeded every expectation and was one of the most fun experiences I’ve had while traveling. I chose to tour by motorbike, but there are also options to go on foot or by car. My guide, Jerry, was extremely professional and tailored the entire night to my preferences. He asked what I had already seen in Kigali, what kind of music I liked, and made sure we ended the night at a hip-hop venue, which I loved. If you want to dance, he’ll dance with you and even teach you local dance styles. If you’d rather observe and enjoy the atmosphere, that’s completely fine too. The tour delivered exactly what was advertised and felt very safe the entire time. This experience is perfect for travelers who want to experience Kigali nightlife but aren’t sure where to go or want a local, non-touristy experience. I saw people of all backgrounds welcomed everywhere we went. The only thing to note is that the tour includes local Rwandan beer. If you prefer cocktails, those are available at the venues but paid separately (and very affordable). Overall, this tour was absolutely worth the money and I would highly recommend
