To start, my driver messaged to ask if we could start at 6:30 instead of 6 because it was so hot. I told him that was fine. I waited out front at 6:30 and he messaged that he was in traffic, but coming fast. He arrived about 7:10! I was picked up in a Tuk-Tuk, not an air conditioned car. At certain points we were literally driving the wrong way on one way streets.
We made 2 stops for food in quite quick succession. The food was tasty and the portion sizes were ample. The driver/guide said since I was full, would I like to go to a fabric shop? After sitting for 30 minutes or more just talking, the owner explained their product line and to look around to see if I liked any thing. I did a walk around to be polite and thanked him and said I wasn’t interested in anything. As we were getting g back in the Tuk-Tuk the guide asks “so back to the hotel?” We had done 2 of the 8 things on the itinerary at this point plus a stop at a store I’m sure he gets kickbacks from. I said we were supposed to have more stops and had to pull up my itinerary to show him. We did 2 more stops and then headed back to the hotel for drop off. There were 3 stops that we never made it to, including one that was a food stop. Overall a disappointing adventure.

We would like to clarify a few points for future travelers. Due to unusually heavy traffic that evening, our guide informed you in advance that there would be a slight delay. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.
This experience is intentionally conducted by Tuk-Tuk, as clearly described in the tour listing. The narrow streets and heavy traffic of Jaipur’s Old City make a Tuk-Tuk the best way to reach local markets and food stops while providing an authentic experience.
The textile shop visit was completely optional, and our guests are never under any pressure to purchase anything. Our guide always tries to adjust the tour according to the guest’s comfort and preferences.
Although we respectfully have a different perspective on some parts of your review, we immediately issued a full refund on the same day of your tour because your satisfaction is very important to us. We believe this reflected our commitment to fair customer service, even when we could not fully agree on every aspect of the experience.

10/10 experience with Maliq!! He was the absolute best tour guide, seriously took us to the most authentic dessert and meal places while also allowing us to experience historic locations in Jaipur! He picked us up from our hotel, drove around the entire city and meals were included with the cost of the purchase! Seriously such a fun time!! Maliq has a wonderful personality which made the several hours spent with him fly by! Nothing but fun!

Amazing introduction to Jaipur and its food and shopping worth doing as soon after you arrive as great orientation for branching out on your own. Guide was Ali and tuk tuk driver was Sonu. Perfect team would highly recommend this trip the guys couldn’t do any more fantastic experience

The guide was very pleasant and friendly, always trying to make us feel comfortable and enjoy the experience! He was the highlight of the experience!
But the activity is poorly planned. It's overpriced for what they provide. It was a tuk tuk ride, having very basic food tasting stops

Amazing private tour tailored to what I wanted: art galleries, flower market and off the beaten track places. Maliq was really patient and amazing. I signed up for a food tour, as that was only one available at the last minute, but I didn’t want to eat anything so Maliq happily accommodated what I wanted! Highly recommend!

What an incredible tour with Ali! He guided us to some amazing food spots all perfectly paced and made sure we experienced Jaipur’s street food safely and comfortably. Ali was incredibly knowledgeable and patient, navigating us through the city’s busy streets with ease. Every stop he chose was delicious, and he even took us to a few stunning viewpoints overlooking Jaipur’s lively evening scene. Great fun with Ali and his super smart rickshaw riding around Jaipur to a few of its food spots. He took us to some famous food stalls off the beaten track for tourists. We enjoyed veggie food sweets kulfi and chai masala as well as delicious tandoori chicken.

My guide, Ali, took me to so many places and it was such a unique experience to try different foods. He explained what I was eating and provided historical info while we walked or took a tuktuk. I wanted to buy a few souvenirs and he knew the best shops. My stomach is so full. What wonderful memories I have of tasty Jaipur!

Our guide, Eli was very friendly, knowledgable and looked after our safety. Our tuk tuk driver, Sonu, expertly navigated the busy streets and he was super friendly.

My driver Sonu had great communication in advance and took a great photo of me in his tuk tuk. Ali put together a well rounded food tasting, allowed for some relaxed moments and people watching, and got me safely across the roads during the walking tour. It was a great way to start my trip in Jaipur

This was a fantastic food tour of Jaipur with our guide Ali. Ali took us to some great places we would not have gone to on our own. It gave us a great insight into the culture and local cuisines which come alive at night.
It was a real highlight of our holiday and trip to Jaipur with some hidden gems experienced during the evening. Would recommend highly this tour with Ali.

A lovely evening being driven around Jaipur trying lots of local foods that we wouldn't have tried on our own.
The best thing was we could direct what we wanted to do... so if something on the plan wasn't our kind of thing, no problem... Shakir asked what we liked and we did that instead...heavy on the Chai and the Gulab Jamun in our case!
But a brilliant way to get to places further out of the main city centre... so better than the street walking tour that we'd usually opt for.

What a great experience! A movable feast that left me rolling into my hotel room. The food was diverse and delicious at every stop. We had a wonderful time on our private Jaipur Food Tour. Our Guide was fantastic. funny, pleasant and charismatic. The food was diverse, plentiful and delicious. In addition to the wonderful food at so many venues, we had a wonderful tour of the city and got to do some shopping. Our guide picked us up at our hotel and returned us to our hotel, which we greatly appreciate being in a city that we didn't know our way around.
