After reading all the horrific stories about taking a 1-day trip to Petra from Tel Aviv, I was expecting the worst. Then I found this tour and it turned to be the best experience on the trip. The package included roundtrip flight tickets from Tel Aviv to Eilat, transfer from the airport to the border, personal assistance to cross the border, private taxi from the Jordan border to Petra, 4 hours in Petra (2-hours private guided tour and 2-hours on your own) and lunch buffet. You will take the first domestic flight to Eilat at 6:30am and you will take the last flight to Tel Aviv at 9:00pm. The flight is only 45 minutes. I would recommend you avoiding the restaurant buffet and eat on your own somewhere else. Everything else was perfect. You will need to pay around $150 extra per person to cross the border, Also, DO NOT use your credit card while in Jordan. My VISA credit card was cloned in Jordan and I had to be with no VISA credit card for the rest of the trip.
