What breath taking views! The ride out to Skye is stunning! Billy customized the tour to our liking and was very knowledgable. He told great stories and we learned a lot about Scottish history and culture. He stocked the car with great snacks and even bought more of our favorites for the ride back! He also guided us to the best spot to dip our faces for the fairy blessing! Thanks for taking great care of us!

A Wonderful Day Trip

This is a great trip from Inverness, but note it is a long drive to the Isle of Skye and there is a lot of driving once you are on the Island itself. Weather can also be a big factor and can change suddenly. On the day we went it rained the entire time. We still had a wonderful time and our guide did a great job trying to adjust for the weather.

I would 100% recommend this tour in any tour that this surface provider offers. They were extremely knowledgeable about each site. They were flexible with request, offered to take pictures, brought you a great local food establishments for lunch. The tour operator was extremely patient and helpful the entire day. I have gone on several tours in this quite possibly is amongst my top three. Each side was stunning and I could not have imagined it being a better time.

Lovely trip to Skye!

We had a wonderful trip on our journey to Skye. The price point was a bit expensive, and we feel it was worth it. Graham was our tour guide and he was lovely. Kind, considerate, accommodating and informative. He tailored the trip to our interests and needs. I think mom said it the best: it felt like we were traveling with a local friend. Highly recommend him!! We were very grateful for our rainpants, raincoats and waterproof shoes (hoka GTX) in the fair pools. It was rainy and windy and ultimately n return to the van still felt dry. Graham was great to coordinate a lunch at The Old Inn and we always thoughtful about giving us times to next stop and toilet access. We truly had a great day. It’s a bit longer of a day (12hr+) and completely worth it.

Best way to see Isle of Skye

Our family really enjoyed spending the day with Lawrence, who drove us ALL over Skye chasing fairy magic. We loved hiking the Ferry Pools, climbing the Fairy Glenn and taking in all the sights along the most scenic routes. Lawrence helped us find a wonderful lunch spot, and even made us reservations while we were inside visiting the castle. Lawrence is so smart, funny and well read…and his wonderful storytelling kept us entertained between points while he was driving. We were so glad we did not do the drive ourselves, as it allowed us to truly enjoy the drive. Lawrence dropped us off at entrances, and was waiting for us when we finished which helped us to make the most of our day. We covered so much territory, but we had such a blast and the day just flew by. We will treasure the pictures and memories of Skye. Thank you Lawrence!

We had an amazing day travelling to Fairy Glen…the Highlands is incredibly beautiful. The cold, blustery winds and drizzle didn’t dampen our enjoyment of this tour. Our guide Lawrence was outstanding…friendly, thoughtful and professional. A must visit!!
